I like this approach to diversity. It makes sense in the context of the drama, and even though I know there will…
Oh idk. I don't think i like it. Hmm how do i phrase it. To me it feels very artificial. Like casting a few international students isn't a real push for diversity. How about creating characters of vietnamese or chinese descent? Or adressing the hate towards muslim migrants? Those are some real pressing issues. And of course very controversial. You will see a lot of korean celebrities voicing support for BLM. But talking about the actual racism in the country? Never. They could start by casting actors and actresses with non pale skin (or if they do different make up). It isn't just a beauty standard. There is a lot of colorism involved.
The drama might be fun. But i dont want to celebrate it as a push for diversity.
dont think will cancel. probably change of main actress.
Afaik they haven't started yet but were very close to. I am trying to think right now who can replace her. Most A listers are already booked and have their projects planned many months ahead.
She looked soooo pretty with that make up awws also Anthony is growing on me in some weird way help
Yes! He has been for a while now. The drama is full of strengely likable characters. Even the manager is fun. It's really only the aunt who wants to ruin the fun :D
I wouldn't describe it as very serious. A little too pulpy for that. But for now we can just go with the press release anyway and afaik that mentions the comedic elements.
So i guess this is the writer's attempt at a 'serious' drama. Spoiler: It's not working. There is nothing complex or insightful about it. Not engaging to watch either. It's a bag of nothing. (Before anyone asks: cheating in a drama doesn't bother me)
