They're so pretty. I cannot hate them, just like Penthouse Lol
Hehe i am actively rooting for Choi Yeo Jin. At least for now.. I have no idea what she sees in the ML though..
I'd go with her mom's assistant :D

No i meant Love Scene #29 with Shim Eun Woo.

Love Scene #29 was another excellent episode. They keep delivering.
Love Scene #23 felt more like a mesh of a web drama and stage play. Those philosophical talks, the way they staged the dialogues, the comedy. Everything felt a little hightened from reality.

Love Scene #29 feels more raw, movie-esque and stylistically conventional. But not in its themes. It is very refreshing and you'll see what i mean ;)
Although the vibe is quite different both stories manage to be insightful, moving and funny.
I can't ask for anything more. I loved them both and am super intrigued about the last two stories.

Only 12 episodes sounds super promising. I hope there will be subs somehow at some point.

Isn't that a good thing?
Hehe i can relate to that. (Check out her recent photoshoots!)
As for the drama. Only 12 episodes and pre produced is a good sign if they want to attempt a 'blockbuster' drama

Then just dont watch it
I mean it's a omnibus drama. You can just skip her 2 episodes and you literally don't miss anything about the other 3 stories.

Would you recommend this drama? The description sounds interesting but the comments seem very confusing
It really is very bad. And there is just no reason to watch it. If you want to watch it for NGM there are a lot far better options. Lee Chung Ah is wasted in this. If you are looking for a thriller there are tons of better options. Even with very similar premises.

To end on a positive note.. Wheein <3

Ten years late, get married or not, love yourself, my best friend’s story
Thanks! I've watched a fair share of Love Yourself. I don't think it's quite on the same level aesthetically. But otherwise a good fit.

Except it does say that the main character has to "hide his identity and live in poverty". This kind of makes…
Well life in Goryeo or Joseon wasn't really that fun if you weren't part of the very few super privileged. But i agree there would still be a few other options other than a king or prince.

Aesthetically it's miles ahead of other cdramas i've watched. The only other one is Nothing But Thirty which felt like an eye opener.
Can anyone recommend other modern & cinematic cdramas like this?

Sees a dude with a box of bras, assumes he's a perv. So far so good. I'm with you. Imagines that man decked out…
Yep.
And south korea is notorious for how widely spread and normalized molka crimes are.. and this is their example of a pervert they came up with??

What did you read? Or do you mean all her other works are rated in the 7s?
Haha. Well she seems to be on good terms with Sung Hoon. He made his debut in one of her dramas and now choses to work with her again. And she must be on especially good terms with Sung Hoon's female co-lead... who made her debut in one of the writers dramas and was just in 2 dramas in total. Now after 6 years she returns and gets a lead role. Well let's hope she is good lol.

I dont really care about rankings.
You can look her up on wiki. Nothing against some crazy makjang but in her case it seems like everything she touches turns into a shitshow. Production included. Notorious for going on killing sprees to abruptly kill off actors she doesnt like (without informing them). Nepotism in the casting (which seems to be the case in this one as well). There is the infamous cancer line... Which she then later used for a title of her book with all kind of bullshit health and foods tips. She basically just wants to trigger people and the more you read about her the more insane it gets.
MBC finally banned her from their network but i am not surprised that TV Chosun would take her with open arms.

Oh and i recommend this read by dramabeans. Absolutely fascinating.
