okay i just watched, the scene that everyone got heated up about wasn't that bad imo LOL i didn't sense or detect…
Yeah i didnt get any weird vibes either. I knew about the scene going in and was just waiting for some kind of iffy moment to come but it didn't happen. There was no romantic implication or anything of that kind (thank god). It was just a random harmless meeting between an adult who helps a kid who hurt herself. In a way i find it more unsettling how many see some case of pedophilia in that. The scene itself is completely harmless. The only problem is that we know they are going to be a couple later on. And many kdramas have those tropes where they fall in love as kids or are fated or whatever. However that's not the case here. It doesn't even seem like the girl had a crush on him. She just thought he was kinda cool. And ML must still be with his first wife at the time of that scene. Now that said the scene is pretty unnessecary and they should probably just remove it to avoid further drama.

Hm not nessecarily. The second half isn't as strong imo. It is a little too dominated by palace politics. But still the best Sageuk in quite a while and probably by the end of the year. Has a lot of strong points going for it.
Well but the change indicates that it might be less dark. And that's all Owen said. And a pretty compelling argument imo. He never said anything about the reasons why it got moved to tvn. Wether they actually things to suit tvn or they just realized the drama suits tvn more. It doesnt really matter. We thought it's a ocn drama and had certain expectations and now it's a tvn drama which changes the expectations. That's all.
For the record: I am very excited for the drama. There is a lot of great talent involved. And only 6 episodes. It seems to be a prestige project for CJ made for OTT.
for me that would be zhuzhu and xiaoxiao, i get there hate for the FL exists to create conflict but it just feels…
After xiaoxiao joined her team i was hoping she they would have a storyline how she slowly turns around. But no... the writers even have her drop her scientific integrity... all for a guy she likes. Sigh
So the doc chases after FL. And her sister gives him advice and tries to set them up. Of course we all know that he has no chance. So i guess he will settle for her sister at the end. Now that's a unique dynamic haha

With the premise i was hoping for something with more quiet and deliberate vibes like Bossam. This is all over the place.
But tbh I've given up educating people about it.
