♥Near perfect ♥ Touching and funny script. Great cast. Sweet Romance.
Overall, a sweet story of finding your first crush, making friends, and turning those relationships into lifelong connections. Excellent closure.
Reality is unlikely to be as dreamy smooth as well as so emotionally controlled for teenagers. Misunderstood situations and inconsistent character decisions gave the conflicts needed for the main couple's story.
The slow progress or missed chances felt real but the easy 2nd chances and unwavering dedication to those 1st loves from almost all the 3 students' friend circle though endearing was but a bit too much for cynical old me. Even the enduring friendships with the 3rd parties/love challengers. Nice, but maybe only in dreamland.
Many small romantic moments, especially in the last 5 eps. This was a pleasant surprise after the long wait as the sparks and embers flickered low and slow for so long. Many relationships on the friends and buddy list that you grow to love and root for.
As for angst and annoying stuff, only the FL's mother was annoying for an extended amt of time. Every other obstacle or challenge was quickly resolved. Their clothing was obviously color matched (ALOT) but not acknowledged by anyone directly - I think this was done possibly indirectly show their fate, but it wasn't necessary, IMO they had more than enough chemistry. The visuals were a little dated and cringy at times. The FL's hair was the same for 99% of the drama with it always tied back with split bangs or straight bangs in a ponytail or bun. Unless she was getting in or out of bed and the 1 exception at the very end it's super boring. I think her style that would have worked for her in high school but definitely not matching his more mature look with the casual suit when they got older.
