Despite the bad comments, I really enjoyed this show. First part was pretty funny and cute, second part (specially…
I agree with you. First watched when it aired and rewatched it multiple times since. Acting, cinematography and OST - outstanding. Plot was a bit irritating in the second part with FL disregard for safety, other than that - it was great with cute first part and nice wrap up.
This such a refreshing drama and genuinely funny without being cringe. I am loving it soo much. 😍 Pure entertainment…
I think the tides are shifting and more people finding it. Rating just bumped to 8.5 from yesterday’s 8.4 and ranking/popularity improving. This show got me hooked from the first episode while some highly anticipated shows this year were a bit disappointing. This one and the Atypical Family were pleasant surprises this year for me.
here after love next door betrayed me with that storyline arc. don't you dare hurt me no gain, no love
Same. I’ve put love next door on hold after reading the spoilers in the comments. This one was a delightful watch from the start. Multiple times in each episode I had to pause - was laughing so hard. Early days but for now Well done! Hope they keep that up and not too much angst (Korean shows like to ambush us with something hurtful once they get us all hooked up) 😅
Loving this show and Shin Min Ah character here. She is absolutely gorgeous. Her in that wedding dress - breathtaking. Both leads are matched so well. My favorite Lee Sang Yi - so happy to see him in any drama 🫶 The humor is another great thing about this show. Thanks for this! Was a bit tired of cringiness and sapiness of many dramas nowadays. A little raciness and mockery of modern trends is quite welcome. I missed this since Love to Hate You.
i keep getting sleepy while watching this i don"t know if its just am tired or the pace is so slow it seems to…
I’m with you here - can’t figure out what that is and why second couple interests me more, although both leads are my favorite actors for a long time. Is it a script?! 🤷♀️🤔
Can someone pls explain me the Something in the Rain reference? Is it because she cooks for him in that scene and the original SITR title (Noona who buys me food)?
Enjoying this show a lot. Have heard about it for a while now - even started several times but dropped on the first episode. What I thought it was another silly drama about teenagers at school - not correct. Turned out to be complex mature character growth portrayal. ML is very appealing in his gentle artistic quirky way. On the surface he is goofy and childish, but it turns out he is very perceptive, kind and reliable from his very childhood. The way he treats his friend when they are kids is so telling. Our FL although seemingly (and very annoyingly so) type A strong personality, one can tell her soft soul is hiding behind that facade. I relate to this a lot because of my cultural background - always pushing for strength rather than kindness. “You gotta be strong to survive in this men dominated world” However, as I know now and hope our FL will soon realize that Kindness is always stronger. Early days still - but it seems that the plot and characters are exceptionally well written. Cherry on top - an outstanding OST.
There is one song in Our Beloved Summer that reminds me about another song in Romance is a Bonus book. Turns out same composer in both shows. Very beautiful OST! 🌹❤️🌹
As much as I like the development in the first 3 episodes, episode 4 was a let down mostly because of the job-related writing. It was just bad and unrealistic - someone even joked that AI wrote that part… Cant agree more! The whole Chris related angst was overdone. You dont need to hear them talk about you to know that you’re being used… some people are just users (and they are everywhere college/work) but you quickly figure out who they are and if smart and confident, which our FL is, you just push them off your back slowly but surely. Dont need to quit just for this one or a few idiot co-workers… And did they really need to go so low as to physically fight him?!?!? Also whenever they use non-Korean «actors» - better say “participants” doesn’t come out well - almost never! (I know only few exceptions). Still rooting for our leads. I like that he is not conciously in love with her yet (although we all know where his heart is - just like the secretary girl). I like the way 4 leads are coming together as friends, which is heartwarming.
As an OSN and Han Ji Min fan, I put this drama on my radar long ago. Now watching Our Beloved Summer, was immediately intrigued by Lee Joon Hyuk. There is an aura of calmness and confidence, which is very attractive. Looking forward for this show release even more now. 🌹
I like Lee Byung Hun’s creations. Whether a screenwriter or director, he always finds ways to make us fall in love with the quirkiest characters. They are certainly not perfect and glamorous (like in most dramas), but they feel very real despite the comedic exaggeration, and their stories are heartwarming. 🌹

The actors (all of them!) were amazing. The comedy - outstanding. The closing scene - super sweet. My only logical self would not accept that police wouldn’t act when notified about minors trafficking and they had to investigate & track down bad guys themselves. The poor excuse with the « unregistered car » is just lame. I understand that’s fiction, but it left bad impression. For a short movie the plot should be tight, otherwise it doesnt work.
- It’s me - Hater!
🤪
-Why didn’t you die?!!
- Sorry to disappoint…
💀☠️🏴☠️😅
- Don’t eat lying down - you’ll turn into a cow…
- Moooo…..
