Hahaha... in ep 2, YCY was right when she said "There are certain reasons why you failed in your past relationships." Hahaha ...he is too straight in his replies. Before he could even win a girl, he self destruct it with his replies. He's like this gorgeously packaged sour candy. Hahaha

All that said, he is a pretty nice guy. He just needs to learn how to "coax" a girl and be more tactful with a girl.

They will likely remain good buddies. He is too straight for a guy and can easily offend a girl unintentionally and he won't even know it. Hahaha

They are both very strong in character so will likely butt head each other or drive each other up the wall often if together unless both compromise.

This drama is actually quite nice and interesting. Jason n Connie's acting have improved a lot. They are not as stiff as befor in their past drama. They are more expressive here.

Hahaha...these 2 kids are damn funny and cute. They are literally in their own world. They were still discussing about their script how it should be improved while watching their drama preview. Hahaha

And the thank u speech after receiving the award ....hahaha.... YCY said " Thank you very much for liking us. We are worthy/deserved of your love." Kekeke .... so very YCY.

Neo is better educated but YCY is quite intelligent for someone who didn't finish her education. Though she is rough on the edges, she speaks with maturity and intelligence. She's quite eccentric, quite like Neo. Emotional level wise, both are on the same level. Hence they can get along like little innocent children and their interactions are very cute and endearing. Even the other 2 couples and hosts are charmed and amused by them like HT. Everywhere they go together, they generate interest as well as warm feelings from the filming crew. Look at the director smiling indulgently at them when YCY visited HMH on his drama set. Kekeke

Hahaha...I thought I was the only one. The acting was too exaggerated to point where I cringe. Tried as I mighty hard to continue watching but I gave up after ep 1. I cannot take it.

Unfortunately after this drama, i chance upon some other drama with same actress but I couldn't watch it because whenever I see her on screen, i keep remembering her in Ever Night. :(

Yesthat was indeed hilarious. Her Sword uncle was looking at her in shock. Best part is when she got her newly transform pagoda, she was like "hey, my tower looks kinda strange" hahaha and she is still clueless why her father and uncle so wanted to achieve 9 level and what so big deal about it. Then she show her pagoda n started counting hers to check out how many level is her new pagoda. Hahaha

He was totally broken and can't be fixed. He was dying from his injuries. All his medians n vitals were damaged beyond repair.

Yes both girls know that he cannot be saved and is dying. But YiXian refused to give up hope on him so she prop him up against the rock. Told him to stay alive and wait for her while she goes to find a herb/medicine to cure him.

While she was gone, the bad guy came and took his mother's ring that has his teacher inside. Then his beloved Xun'Er came. Cried over him, realising that all his medians n vitals were broken beyond salvage n is dying, spoke to him n then stole his jade pendant n left him to die.

But he didn't die. He was saved by his master (the guy who wakes up every 60 years) reviving pill at the very last minute. Remember that master has 2 revival pills and he gave 1 to Xiao Yan.

Thanks for the tips. It doesn't affect me that much because I'm watching both with impartial views and do not compare them side by side. I'm enjoying both drama and anime separately.

I like it as it is. I do find it pretty interesting and it keeps me all excited n anticipating for new episodes.

Yeah. I read from comments that it was completely different. I still enjoy the drama version very much. :)

Just wanna watch the anime out of interest purposes only. Not going to compare. Will be hard and costly for a drama to follow closely to the anime. Can understand why they shorten the whole thing and change it to adapt it to TV version.

They can also be in their own bubble world on stage. That's so funny. The other 2 couple just watch HMH/YCY interaction on stage with lots of amusement and smiling broadly J
just like the directors n people on the set of HMH/YCY story. These 2 kid are seriously in their own world when they are together. Hahaha

HMH has said right from the beginning that he doesn't have much experience in doing variety show as he started out singing career first and then decided to concentrate on his acting career. The other 2 actors Ian Wang and Jasper - they have done a lot of variety shows before so they are more experience, more relax and chill. In the beginning, we can differentiate HMH in acting mode for the script n HMH the person. Later on as they progress and YCY got him loosen up, it gets difficult to differentiate it.

YCY is eccentric right from the start even as contestant in Producer 101 which propelled her to stardom. Kekeke
