Oh yes... ZYL character in Ming Lan reminds me of SYR. The difference is that ZYL character was shangled by his over domineering mom n a crazy wife. Only difference is he didn’t kill FL nor cheated on her.

The 3rd Aunty became good with a good soul. In the familu, only FL n 3rd Aunty are smart. The rest of the ladies are quite helpless but they will unit to help the best they can use their brain. 🤭🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣 FL family ... the males are useless apart from her grandfather n youngest uncle (not much help too but better than FL father n other uncles).

It was his mother that was greedy n hypocrite.

She was the concubine of FL 3rd Uncle and was convinced/talked into giving her newborn baby boy away to be raised by 2nd Uncle as their own flesh n blood as 2nd Uncle and Aunt were unable to conceived any of their own. In ancient times, due to her status as concubine, her son would be considered as illegitimate son and will be treated badly. So if her son were to be raised by the 2nd Uncle, he will be considered as legitimate son as it's a secret adoption within the family. Soas the boy grew up, she started to long for her son. Hence her action.
