I watched thevfirst few episodes of S2 ... I dropped it. Didn't like the ML acting nor the story.

She's a screwed up mental bitch. She will shack up with any man that is connected to her stolen toy and the guy behaviour. If he is dull, she will drop him. So far Min Hwan character is intrigued her because he always changes in unexpected ways. The chef is not interesting to her because he is dull n kinda dead beat.

Their chemistry on n off camera are insanely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Watch her drama Born To Run that just ended its run. Excellent drama. YCY should act more in these sort of drama.

Watch her in Born to Run... she's excellent there. U will cry togwith her. The way her eyes water ... wow ... so pretty, so fragile, so vulnerable....just wow

Most importantly... her acting can match with the level of veteran actresses acting. This shows that she has improved a lot. Or else it will be so apparent and trailing behind them ... but she didn't. She could match their acting skills. I'm glad that she gets to learn from these veteran actresses and director.

Yes I saw that on weibo. Every time YCY comes on screen, the rating hit all time high.

Heard that they cut off 2 episodes from the series. Wish they can put the last 2 episodes as special edition.

Totally agree. A very wounded mother daughter relationship cannot be healed and get a complete happy ending like Anxin so fast in 2 episodes...it would a time jump to have that. However it would be nice to get an extra episode on how Ruo hua and her mother living on their own n getting better in themselves.

Maybe the station was afraid YCY last 2 episodes might pull down the drama because it was focused on Ruohua and that she might not be able to pull it off or it could be the stationed only bought 28 episodes.

Ruohua n mother story is very hard to stomach as it's really raw and realistically written. We normally would prefer a heart warming story like Anxin and her super supportive mother and easier to accept n look forward to the happy ending. Whereas Ruohua n her mother relationship hit a raw nerve in each and everyone of us. In a lot of families, there's always a favourite child that can do no wrong and is worshipped and one that is somewhat or totally neglected.

Realistically Ruohua n mom story ending can't be as complete as Anxin n her mom. If we get a total happy ending of Ruohua n her mom like Anxin and her mom, it will feel pretty fake. I like how it ended with Ruohua n her mom. It'svery realistic. The mom finally realised her bad mom love n daughter finally able to live her life away from her mom. They both need a lot of self healing away from each other. Only after they find themselves then they can meet and have a loving mother daughter time together like Anxin and her mother. The viewers in us wants to see a complete happy ending of Ruohua with a boyfriend and her mom dinning together etc just like Anxin so the ending feels like it was not complete because we are used to complete happy ending.

She's looking for love from another person that she didn't receive from her mom all her growing up years and also pressure from her mom to get married. Unfortunately she has to go through the rough road in order to realise she don't need a man to fill that lack of love. She needs to love herself first.

This mother is worst than Go Ahead. This mother put her kids up and down. With her son, she drowns him with love, praises and expectations. With Ruohua, she drowns her by putting her down, then praise her up, then blackmail her with threats when she can't get her, then control her movements, her friends ... her total life. I think Ruohua got off worst than her brother in terms of treatment.

She's still too young to consider marriage unlike her cousin who is older and more mature. She needs to be away from her mom, live her own life and discover what she wants to do in life and what makes her happy.

I think Ruo Hua will end up marry the guy that her mom deem fitting n worthy and might ended up being in a domestic violent marriage. No matter who she dated or have as boyfriend, her mother will deem as not fitting to her ideal of son in law.

Until she remembers what her brother told her and how horrible her brother felt and break free from her mom. Right now, Ruo Hua is in her mom vicious n toxic cycle that she can't see or consume by her mother's web. Usually the victim of such treatment doesn't know how to break free from their manipulator. The mom will only wake up when Ruo hua is broken, then it will hit her hard in her face.

Sadly Ruohua is emotionally being manipulated by her mom. Plus her disillusion with her boyfriend, she gave up and gave in to her mother's demand.

Ruohua is lacking in mother love. So whenever her mom uses the blackmail/threaten card, her heart soften n gives in to her mom or when her mom shows motherly love towards her, her heart soften. Ruohua is a very soft hearted n kind girl. Her mother broke her 1st love n sort of forced her to marry the man that meets her criteria of suitable husband material ie. got money, got status, got house n car etc. Her mom is basically looking for a money bank instead of love and happiness for her daughter. All of us must remember even now after Ruohua brother is dead, in her mother's heart, he is still her occupying 100%. Occasionally she will remember RuoHua but she always compares Ruohua with her son. She only clings on to Ruohua because there's no one else left n she can easily manipulate Ruohua. Ruohua now is quite disillusioned n just let her mom dictates her life.

It's kinda sad that the mother was on the verge of destroying her son life but he was taken away before he could do the act. Now she is focusing on ruining Ruohua life. Is the mom having severe depression all these years without the children's knowledge?

This drama is showing us how different each mother's love for their kids. One only wants happiness for her daughter and will fight for it with her. The mother is obsessive love and ownership of her children, consuming her children wholely destroying them.

He must be seriously super desperate. Perhaps because she is available n wanted same thing as him n she's good in that department. Perhaps he felt she won't pose any problems when he drop her.
