The hypocrite head mistress/Directress caught the real Jiang Li trying to sneak out during curfew hours to check on FL n was heavily whipped for it. On top of it, that B*tch got all the girls in that Academy to each take turns give a hard blow on that poor JiangLi ... literally beating her to death. This harsh punishment was implemented by the Directress to deter ladies in Academy to go out at night for romps/affair with men in forest. Guess what! The one that needs to be beaten to death is the Directress herself for breaking her own rule ...she was literally having hot romp in her own room all the time!

FL took over JiangLi name to take revenge on the Directress and theJiang family on real JiangLi behalf.

Haiz...the regime is butchering all good drama.

They don't have connections to the higher power except Jiang family who they are estranged after JL mom died. The Li family wants to control YeSjijee through his family n also swallow their wealth.

The difficulty is reading the sub n looking at their expressions at the same time... not wanting to miss their brilliantacting. 😅😅😅 Everyone of them are excellent actors even the supporting casts.

Who said S2 is boring??

This S2 is brilliantly written. All the intrigue and chess play moves by everyone involved is really 💪. Have to really pay attention to their dialogues.

Im slowly enjoying this drama ... stopping myself to watch all episodes... now I'm at ep 13 ... wow the political play is amazing ... didn’t think FX could do the reverse move but he did.

I totally agree on this. I have rewatch S1 3 to 4x already n each time I rewatch, I discover some details that I didn't noticed/missed before and it also makes me understand the whole thing better. The details are in the conversation n the relationship built up.

Don't fast forward ... the story builds up as it goes along. There are little snippets of info here n there that might be lost if you skip the episodes.

Do continue to watch. It gets more and more interesting as the episodes go in S1.
