I stopped watching at episode 5 and skipped to the last episode and not much changed in plot or character development, which tells you how repetitive the drama was. It's a shame cuz it started great and I like the actors.
I'm loving the increase in articles on j-dramas!! The spring season this year brought so many great dramas, and it's nice to see more people talking about them.
Great job on the article! I was already planning on rewatching this drama but this article just made me want to do it a lot sooner.
For anyone interested, the show actually created an instagram account for Mashiba Kurumi. It ironically has more followers than the character in the drama. https://www.instagram.com/mashiba_room/?hl=en
Yes like I couldn't understand why she did that? It seemed like she was plotting something but then seemed like…
I thought she was getting her alone so she could talk to her, but instead she just leaves her?? What did she think she was going to gain from doing that?
Just finished this drama this week, and I'm not against a remake. It's interesting that they would remake it since it's already popular in Korea and part of what makes the drama so great are the plot twists and not knowing how the story will unfold.
It was great to see everyone from the drama series return for the special. But it feels like besides Kaori, the other two at the end of the special are basically where they were when the series ended. Not much development which is disappointing but maybe we'll get another special when the olympics actually happen.
This is the first time where I care more about the corporate storyline than the romance for the main character. At this point I fast forward the parts with Tammy and Morgan.
Finally completed my first asadora and I could now understand why they have lasted so long in Japan. Sakura Ando was terrific (as always) but by the end, I loved the entire cast and the show made me appreciate instant ramen that much more lol.
Just started this drama since I love the lead actress and I'm really enjoying it. This is my first asadora, and…
I'm almost at episode 70 and Manpuku continues to be a great show. However, I can't believe that Manpei got arrested for the THIRD TIME!! Like damn this guy is unlucky.
I'm pretty sure that thing that happened in episode 15 wouldn't happen if they didn't extend this drama from 16…
Yeah, I definitely thought that if it was 16 episodes (like planned) that the last couple of episodes would be about bringing the coach down and ends with the book being published but now we have a murder mystery??Like Seo Jin and Sue Lim both know that the coach is dangerous but they don't do anything for a year because we have a time jump? You could tell that the writer had to come up with something to have material for the episode extension and that the network wanted to see how high the ratings can go.
Just started this drama since I love the lead actress and I'm really enjoying it. This is my first asadora, and I hope the subbers continue to sub it since I know it's a lot of work subbing such a long show (and it's appreciated!).
