Finally completed my first asadora and I could now understand why they have lasted so long in Japan. Sakura Ando was terrific (as always) but by the end, I loved the entire cast and the show made me appreciate instant ramen that much more lol.
Just started this drama since I love the lead actress and I'm really enjoying it. This is my first asadora, and…
I'm almost at episode 70 and Manpuku continues to be a great show. However, I can't believe that Manpei got arrested for the THIRD TIME!! Like damn this guy is unlucky.
I'm pretty sure that thing that happened in episode 15 wouldn't happen if they didn't extend this drama from 16…
Yeah, I definitely thought that if it was 16 episodes (like planned) that the last couple of episodes would be about bringing the coach down and ends with the book being published but now we have a murder mystery??Like Seo Jin and Sue Lim both know that the coach is dangerous but they don't do anything for a year because we have a time jump? You could tell that the writer had to come up with something to have material for the episode extension and that the network wanted to see how high the ratings can go.
Just started this drama since I love the lead actress and I'm really enjoying it. This is my first asadora, and I hope the subbers continue to sub it since I know it's a lot of work subbing such a long show (and it's appreciated!).
I 100% agree with you that I would much rather the leads end up together since the second lead is kind of annoying and in the most recent episode she told him that she would rather be friends (although I don't know what happened with that because of the time loop). In the webtoon, the male lead looks older so maybe they aged him down in the drama so that the leads could be together.
I had no expectations when I started this drama but this show is so good and just gets better with each episode. I look forward to this drama every week which hasn't happen in a while for me. It reminds me a lot of Chief Kim and there has actually been some cameos from the actors in that drama but I don't know if that was intentional or not lol.
Not the person who wrote the comment but from what I read from other comments, she ends up with the second lead Kang Jun Ho in the webtoon. Although, people say that the drama has made changes from the webtoon so they could change that too.
The last three episodes of this drama were SOOO rushed that it started to not make sense?!Haru and Yuchi went on a couple of dates and Haru didn't even know if they were in a serious relationship or not but then he suddenly proposes? It just didn't make sense to me. Also, Haru and Yuichi didn't have any chemistry, so I never cared about them as a couple.
Overall, I didn't expect much from this drama but I wish they went in another direction with the ending. I really thought that they were going to end with Haru deciding that marriage isn't everything and that she's okay with being single but I guess the writer really wanted to end it with a wedding .
I was a little apprehensive to start this drama since I'm not a big fan of the screenwriter but I'm glad that I did because it's a lot better than what I expected. Although the last couple of episodes were kind of boring ( it felt like everything slowed down), I would still recommend this drama.
It was kind of predictable what was going to happen (like most sports movies TBH) but it was a still a pretty good movie. If you need something to watch when you're bored I would suggest it.
I gave the same rating for the drama as well. I think that the first half of the drama was great but then it really fell off near the end which is why I gave it a 7. The reveal of the killer completely changed the way I saw the drama and not in a good way since then I couldn't understand the way Tae Wook acted throughout the entire drama when he was killer the whole time.
It also left a sour taste in my mouth for the romance since he let Go Hye Ran go through so much shit and almost lose everything she worked so hard for when he knew she didn't do it and took advantage of the situation.
Does anyone have any idea what's the song that plays in the background during romantic moments particularly when Jung Hee and Son Jin first meet and the scene with her almost drowning. Can't find it anywhere.
I absolutely loved this drama and I appreciate how Jung Hye and Mi Sook ended up divorcing their husbands because too often in dramas you see how the man has "changed" and they stay together in the end. Although their husbands changed a little for the better, Mi Sook and Jung Hye ultimately chose what was going to make them happy and I loved that!
