Phenomenal…more of this but make it more satisfying.
I know I'm very late to this, but this was such a thought-provoking show. I actually predicted it would end the way it did. And while I'm not completely satisfied with the ending — and yes, you could argue it's realistic given the plot - I do think it feels a bit outdated for today.
I've watched enough LGBTIA+ shows with sad endings to last a lifetime, so this ending was honestly such an eye-roll for me. I could see the angle they were going for from a mile away. That said, the acting was phenomenal, it really pulls you in. I caught myself holding my breath during certain scenes.
Overall, it was a great show. I can't deny that the aesthetic and cinematography were an absolute joy to watch. We need more shows like this-just with more satisfying endings.
