I was told this was STRICTLY bromance like mysterious lotus casebook but I'm on episode 2 and I'm getting untamed/word of honor type of bromance vibes.
it's BL, the novel it's based on is BL... u probably won't like it so you should stay clear of it. also for future…
well it's china so it will be censored BL, they won't actually show any intimate scenes btwn the male leads so u can actually interpret it as a friendship drama.

if you see girls/women as furniture that's ur problem. I just love seeing women get acting jobs. I love seeing strong female leads/supporting characters in this male dominated industry... it's a ME Thing. I don't need them to be romantically involved with anyone . also it's more realistic.
then dont watch it? no need to announce your dissatisfaction
you announce your satisfaction,.I'll announce my dissatisfaction. you weirdo, this is a review site where everyone "announces" their feelings about dramas.
First, if you Can not suspend your disbelief for the sake of enjoyment... maybe you should stick to reality tv shows
Secondly, usually this is how most medical dramas are though.... house was like this, that show with the autistic doctor was like this... heck most detective shows are also like this... there is almost always a prodigy that's always right and everyone else is wrong most of the time except for shows like grey's anatomy which tries to focus more on realism than anything else
Maybe you should just avoid shows about prodigys in any field cause most will be like this, from Korean to American.
