the laws are more laxed for original scripts then they are for dangai, so it's easier for bromances like live surgery room and running like shooting star to air than it is for dramas like hyx or winner is King, but there is still hope.
also no, I have not heard about GUI Zhao but if it's not adapted from danmei, chances are it will air.

Hey guys remember to watch this on official channels to support all the people that worked hard on this drama, bl novels rarely get adapted to high budget long episode dramas due to the homophobic environment in korea so this is the only way for them to be adapted into something watchable, also the author of this novel deserves to see her adaptation a success, if you can't watch that's fine but don't give a one star rating just to be spiteful when chances are you didn't even know the Novel existed before this drama. remember, even if Korea has no laws against producing same sex work, it is HIGHLY still a homophobic country and its very impossible to produce high budget BLs to air on official TV stations, that's why most kbls are usually low budgeted and 10-20 minutes long.

there are plenty of kbls you can watch if you hate Bromance that much. but don't act entitled like some pple on this page who Clearly are out of touch with reality and just want to ruin things for everyone because they themselves are miserable and the only joy they get in life is when they get to fetishize on two Asian men getting it on on-screen, pple who clearly don't care about the plot but the intimacy btwn two characters which if you read the synopsis isn't the main point of the story.

the gasp I gusped when he slapped ZhouXiang after he was with LanXiRong.... and it's worse in the book cause We get his inner monologue, he really doesn't care about ZX 😭 he's just Obsessed and selfish, doesn't care about what ZX wants at all ... even though I know there'll end up together in the end ...
