First, if you Can not suspend your disbelief for the sake of enjoyment... maybe you should stick to reality tv shows
Secondly, usually this is how most medical dramas are though.... house was like this, that show with the autistic doctor was like this... heck most detective shows are also like this... there is almost always a prodigy that's always right and everyone else is wrong most of the time except for shows like grey's anatomy which tries to focus more on realism than anything else
Maybe you should just avoid shows about prodigys in any field cause most will be like this, from Korean to American.
lol! So some people won’t watch cos of a rapist? So the other actors in the drama should be be punished? I will…
the other actors will be fine, they already got paid for this. rape is a serious issue and the audience needs to send out a message that men can't do whatever they want to women and still get jobs in the entertainment industry.
it's RAPE. your attitude is exactly why these men do horrible things to women and get away with it.
you hear someone was raped and you have no problem with it but the BL part is what your concerned about? seek help.
Dont talk if you don't know shit. Those two broke up long before So hee started dating him. Ignorant comments…
we don't know their personal story but what we do know isn't good either, tmHan so hee and BF tried to ruin Hyeri's image after she posted ONE picture without naming names, Han so hee was so rude to her and even went as far as buying articles to slander Hyeri, I was a hard core han so hee fan but she is not it.
What are the new rules for Danmei adaptation? I am getting more confused between all the comments as it is said…
it's not banned lol, if it was then why would production companies be shooting more danmei adaptations? also it was confirmed that guardians of the land by priest is set to air this year. it's not banned.
what is banned though is this
1. any hints of the male protagonists being inlove / dramas should be STRICTLY friendship, if there are any hints to a romantic relationship, the drama will immediately be taken off the air.
2. if the main actors misbehave in ANY way and cause toxic fandom wars of any kind the drama will be taken down (Think 227 incident or ZZS scandal)
3) They are not allowed to adapt the plot as it is written in the bover rather the novel should serve as "inspiration"
4) they must not take the title of the novel or advertise that it was based on said novel
there are other things but I forgot about them
so we will be having bromances like mysterious lotus casebook rather than bromances like untamed, word of honor or killer healer.
there are some benefits to this, this means big actors can take on these roles without fear of backlash, we all know bl adaptations are somewhat stigmatized in ENT industry, we can have higher budgets for the productions etc... I'm just choosing to look on the bright side with this cause crying about it won't change Chinese government mind
6 episodes....just perfect for my attention span 😍.it's ridiculous how I can watch a 40/50 episode Chinese drama but when it comes to Kdrama... 12 is the ideal number.
