Each character has a strong story that you can't be miss. Their pure and solid friendship makes you warm inside your chest. The love story between the main characters makes you feel butterflies and kicking your feets repeatly, Even though the scene was only a little (leaves you wanting moooreeee) , their gazes at each other made me scream silently like a teenager 😆🩷🦋
The cinematography is quite good, even though the story is set in 1996. Such a nostalgic memory of our old days tbh. The plot is fast, simple but has a lot of meaning in every scenes. Sometimes, you will feel annoyed with FL's stubbornness but then feel proud when she realizes her mistake and she isn't even embarrassed to apologize first. Her character development is worth waiting for until the end. Bet, you won't feel bored at all.

The main character's love story is quite dominating so I think you won't feel bored throughout long episodes. But don't expect too much from their kiss scenes. To be honest, there are several things that are quite lacking in this drama IMO. Like the expression of FL which is more flat or unnatural at certain moments. Then the cinematography, and transitions for each scene are so so . Not to mention the CGI which is uncomfortable to look at which has an impact I don't think it's good enough to capture the audience to become more immersed in the storyline.
In conclusion, I quite like it. And I hope Neo gets even better projects in the future. Especially if he is paired with FL who can support his acting more deeply. I wish the world would recognizes his talent. He is a hidden gem that will shine if he continues to sharpen it.

Okay, first of all I thought Kluen Cheewit and Bad Romeo is the best lakorn imo. Until I watched this lakorn and BAM!! My opinion has changed. Initially I watched this lakorn because of Push and Jess. Unexpectedly, I was amazed at P'Lukkade's (Elle) acting. I saw her for the first time in Bad Romeo as antagonist. I didn't think that she would be able to play Elle so nicely and elegantly. I felt like I saw her being herself rather than acting. Gosh.. she is truly a senior actress who deserves to be respected. ❤️

Once again Wulei impressed me with his acting. Likewise Luhan, he has the potential to be a great actor too.

This is the fourth Wu Lei project that I watched after Love Like The Galaxy, The Long Ballad, and Upcoming Summer (Movie). This drama is quite heavy to watch. The life story of each character looks so REAL that it makes me curious until the end. And of course the character that catches my eye here is Xiao Chuang (Wu Lei). He has high self-esteem and always not wanting to make other people worry or feel sorry for him.
His passion, his struggles, his sacrifices for those closest to him were insane ! Especially whenever he boasts about making a promise, he sounds like bullshit but it turns out that he ALWAYS fulfills them responsibly. And my feelings every time I see the struggle of his life makes me like on a roller coaster!
Damn.. man , He is such a rare character that everyone dreams of. He is very optimistic and never give up even though his life went rock to the bottom. 😭 and i like Ping Ping so much. His loyalty to Xiao Chuang is beyond my expectations.
In short, once again Wu Lei managed to amaze me with his extraordinary acting skills. 👏👏👏 I highly recommend this drama for you all. Trust me, its worth it !!
