Too late to watch this series after a year has passed. But I don't regret it because I could binge watch for 4 days to finish it. The story is written and produced very well. The sword fight scenes are a top notch . The characters play their roles perfectly. It's very rare for me to find a series where all the moments remain imprinted in my memory.

Waiting for it since the first trailer appeared. Binge watching after this series finished broadcasting because I'm not into on going team. 😄 The cinematography, color grading and costumes look perfect. Also I really like FL make up, she looks beautiful and seductive. However, she was too pretty to dismantle corpses at all times. Kinda it doesn't feel right imo. Haha..

Actually, I'm not a fan of mystery thriller series, but I forced myself to follow this series because this couple was too good to be missed.

In terms of story, I found several plot holes that were quite disturbing. Like how the face swap process occurs. How did second ML immediately know that FL was Chai Wei with just one look or we can say just by hearing the sentences she said. Woahh.. .
In my opinion, her friend's reaction was too flat when she/he found out that Sangguan Zi was Cia Wei. I was like 😨 really ? That's it ? Are they okay with it ??
Also, Cia Wei's love story with ML would be better if there was more, so there would be more of a sense of loss when Cia Wei dies. ML's closeness to Cia Wei (Sangguan Zi version) is also too fast considering their bad relationship in the past.

Overall, this series is quite good to watch. But it may not meet some expectations .

🫣 really? I just knew that. IKR! Honestly, I really hope he takes on the role of a villain in the future. He looks stunning as Xuan Ye in Immortal Samsara. I can't move on yet 😭

Ngl, did y'all realize that all of YaoLiu's moments were more memorable than XY with other main leads? But still yall tell me that YaoLiu is not the end game ??! Why do they play with our feelings?!! Whyyyy😭

For the umpteenth time I was amazed by Cheng Yi's acting skills. The story is well written. Produced with amazing detail in terms of costumes, CGI, OST and cinematography. Even though it is quite long, it is highly recommended for angst and slow burn lovers. Their romantic scenes are not the typical passionate or steamy ones, but are sweet and make your heart flutter even they're just look at each other. We can also have three stories in this drama. So maybe you won't feel bored ✌🏻

Just be prepared to be frustrated with FL attitudes who don't want to realize how difficult it is for ML to be faced with the choice between love or peace of the six realms . I'm quite annoyed with FL who feels disappointed bcs ML chooses world peace over their love. Like, hello?? Did she forgets who ML is?? I know that heaven's rules doesn't make sense. But still...

Although FL finally realized its mistake after dozens of episodes. They got an happy ending. So don't worry ..

This is my first time seeing Cheng Yi acting in a modern drama. His role here is quite light, as if he were playing himself. The chemistry with FL is also quite sweet and mature. The storyline is quite interesting but too long and dragged imo. Especially the story about his brother's marriage life which I think is unnecessary.

Luckily the camera work in this drama is quite good. So I was able to stay in my seat until the end 😂 the ost's also suitable in every scene . Typical angst melodrama but it doesn't really make your heart tight or crying in a mess, so don't worry. ✌🏻

Overall, you won't find any annoying love triangles here . Everything is clearly shown that the villain/ antagonist has reasons for what they does. although I don't think their reasons are strong enough to do that. Well ..

Hope Cheng Yi gets even better projects in the future with a fresher story. I'm tired of seeing him suffer endlessly.

I felt betrayed when I found out that the kiss scene in ep 52 actually had been deleted a lot. Like, we waited for that scene for so long ffs!! 😭 Luckily, we can find the complete original scene on YouTube.

Just watched it after all these years. The story was good apart from the poor editing. The costumes look plain compared to other shows nowadays . However, I was very amazed by the acting of the actors and actresses who played their roles well.
Actually, the storyline dragged a bit. Especially in the scenes of looking for the lost Linglong spirit. I don't know how many times I had to fast forward to this part😂.

Everyone said they hated Hao Chen for using Xuan Ji to guard the 3 realms. But I have my own opinion so I understand why he did that, despite his possessiveness towards Xuan Ji. Not because of love but because he feels that Xuan Ji is his tool who is able to fulfill his obsession maintaining world peace. Sigh...

Also, I'm tired of seeing Chen Yi's role, which always sacrifices and weak for the people he loves. I hope he gets much better roles than this in the future.

Overall I quite like this show and recommend it for those of you who like angst romance. It's just that you have to be prepared for endless misunderstandings. ✌🏻

Actually, this could be on my favorite list with angst stories about ex-lovers if it weren't so poorly written.

The plot is very bad, the background sound is noisy and not suitable for every scene, especially tense or romance scenes.
There was too much screaming especially the endless bickering between the two mothers.
Poor editing so we can't feel the chemistry between the characters. I believe that P'film and P'Esther are very good at acting. However, because of poor editing, I couldn't find the chemistry between them. Also, if only the stylist paid more attention to his style here. We all know that P'Film is much better looking than that. It's such a waste 😔

The best part here is the FL and ML kissing scene. They really give us a real steamy kiss 💋

Overall , I really hope P'film and my girl P'Esther will get a much better project , better productions than this in the future .

Actually, I watched this bcs of Wang Anyu. Love his antique sm 😂. And his style here is so damn fineeee..

After all, kudos for all actors and actresses. 👏🏻

Didn't think this story was interesting at first. And I don't regret having binge watched for two days.

This drama is very easy to follow. All the actors and actresses play their roles very well even though the production quality is low budget , imo. The storyline is very light, funny and sweet. You won't find complicated conflicts like saeguk in general. So it is very suitable for entertaining you in your spare time with popcorn and snacks 😂.

This is my first time seeing Ju Hyun as FL. She has a unique charm, pretty smile, and beautiful eyes. Also, for the umpteenth time I was fascinated by Young Dae's role in costume. Hope he takes on another saeguk project in the future with a much more interesting story.

The story was quite interesting and kept me hooked until the end. Though the story line wasn't written well enough and dragged out a bit. There aren't too many romantic scenes between ML and FML here so I'm a bit disappointed. I was like , we have two pretty actors and actresses here !! 😫 Why aren't we shown their sweet moments at least?

I was really impressed by Do Ha's cold and mysterious character. Ngl, Young Dae is very suitable for playing such a role . His tone of voice, expressions, eyes and gestures portray Do Ha's character very well. I really hope in the future he gets much better scripts than this because he has potential to be recognized about his talent.

Besides that, this is the first time seeing Ye Jin acting as FML. And I was really amazed by her acting skills. Love her natural expression, and she has a pretty smile tho 😍

Just finished it after binge watching for a few days. The story is quite a full package. You can find their happiness, friendship, struggle, trust, and funny scenes in every ep. it's quite entertaining and light to follow. Zi Lu is quite eye candy here 😍. although 30 eps is a little too long and draggy sometimes.. Recommended for those of you who are looking for a light drama. But don't expect romantic scenes.

For those of you who stumbled here, please give me some recommendations for dramas with stories similar to LYF. It doesn't matter whether it's modern or costumes drama. Honestly, I can't move on at all 😭

I'm looking for every character has close chemistry with FL like this. Especially FL & ML. And most importantly, I want the FL to be brave and not act like a child with a fake voice. At least it was broadcast around 2020 - 2024.

I was immediately hooked from the first ep. Surprisingly amazed by their camera work and cinematography. I really like Anyu's style so much , he looks so damn cool and cute at the same time. Gshdhshsh

There aren't too many romance scenes here so I was a little disappointed. However, this feeling was relieved by their sweetness between ML and FL. Even though this is my first time seeing Song Zu Er's act. She looks cute and small.

Anyu's natural acting makes me believe that his role as Bei Sheng is being himself. He can control his gestures and gaze well and doesn't look like he's acting at all. 😂 The funny side of him was too real to be true.
He's a definition real talented actor with all rounders. Still waiting for his next project. I really hope he can be known for his talent. He's such a hidden gem 💎

Was hype when I first saw the trailer.

Didn't expect this series tells about their adventures looking for one thing and then another throughout the episodes. 😅

Apart from that, we are also shown friendship, trust and loyalty. There weren't many romance scenes between Lusi and Anyu as I thought. So don't get your hopes up too much. 😌

Overall, the story is quite interesting but not intriguing. The cinematography and CGI is just so-so, I don't really remember the OST either.

But still kudos for Lusi and Anyu. Their acting was amazing as usual. Love their costumes too. Lusi looks so beautiful.

Starting a little too late. The storyline is quite interesting, heartwarming, not too much conflict at all. The romance is sweet but not too strong. So don't expect too much. I felt it took a little too long and dragged for 28eps. The cinematography is quite comfortable to look at tho.. I give 7.5/10 for the storyline.

Just finished this series. I didn't think I would like it so much. 💞 This series is suitable for those of you who like adorable romance with age gap. Cool cinematography, ear catching ost. Wang Anyu looks so cute and manly here that you can't take your eyes off him. He looks so damn fine ~ He's the all-rounder !!
I recommend this to accompany your long holiday. 💞

The story is quite interesting compared to other wuxias I've ever watched. Once again, My Queen Yangzi always manages to amazed me with her natural acting. Her chemistry with other actors is great. Especially with Jian Ci. I really hope XL and XY are the end game. Gdgdhsj

Still waiting for the second season to air. Hopefully there will be differences with the novel. ✌🏻
