For the umpteenth time I was amazed by Cheng Yi's acting skills. The story is well written. Produced with amazing detail in terms of costumes, CGI, OST and cinematography. Even though it is quite long, it is highly recommended for angst and slow burn lovers. Their romantic scenes are not the typical passionate or steamy ones, but are sweet and make your heart flutter even they're just look at each other. We can also have three stories in this drama. So maybe you won't feel bored ✌🏻
Just be prepared to be frustrated with FL attitudes who don't want to realize how difficult it is for ML to be faced with the choice between love or peace of the six realms . I'm quite annoyed with FL who feels disappointed bcs ML chooses world peace over their love. Like, hello?? Did she forgets who ML is?? I know that heaven's rules doesn't make sense. But still...
Although FL finally realized its mistake after dozens of episodes. They got an happy ending. So don't worry ..
This is my first time seeing Cheng Yi acting in a modern drama. His role here is quite light, as if he were playing himself. The chemistry with FL is also quite sweet and mature. The storyline is quite interesting but too long and dragged imo. Especially the story about his brother's marriage life which I think is unnecessary.
Luckily the camera work in this drama is quite good. So I was able to stay in my seat until the end 😂 the ost's also suitable in every scene . Typical angst melodrama but it doesn't really make your heart tight or crying in a mess, so don't worry. ✌🏻
Overall, you won't find any annoying love triangles here . Everything is clearly shown that the villain/ antagonist has reasons for what they does. although I don't think their reasons are strong enough to do that. Well ..

Especially in the scenes of looking for the lost Linglong spirit. I don't know how many times I had to fast forward to this part😂.
Everyone said they hated Hao Chen for using Xuan Ji to guard the 3 realms. But I have my own opinion so I understand why he did that, despite his possessiveness towards Xuan Ji. Not because of love but because he feels that Xuan Ji is his tool who is able to fulfill his obsession maintaining world peace. Sigh...
Also, I'm tired of seeing Chen Yi's role, which always sacrifices and weak for the people he loves. I hope he gets much better roles than this in the future.

The plot is very bad, the background sound is noisy and not suitable for every scene, especially tense or romance scenes. There was too much screaming especially the endless bickering between the two mothers. Poor editing so we can't feel the chemistry between the characters. I believe that P'film and P'Esther are very good at acting. However, because of poor editing, I couldn't find the chemistry between them. Also, if only the stylist paid more attention to his style here. We all know that P'Film is much better looking than that. It's such a waste 😔
The best part here is the FL and ML kissing scene. They really give us a real steamy kiss 💋
Overall , I really hope P'film and my girl P'Esther will get a much better project , better productions than this in the future .

This drama is very easy to follow. All the actors and actresses play their roles very well even though the production quality is low budget , imo. The storyline is very light, funny and sweet. You won't find complicated conflicts like saeguk in general. So it is very suitable for entertaining you in your spare time with popcorn and snacks 😂.
This is my first time seeing Ju Hyun as FL. She has a unique charm, pretty smile, and beautiful eyes. Also, for the umpteenth time I was fascinated by Young Dae's role in costume. Hope he takes on another saeguk project in the future with a much more interesting story.

You can find their happiness, friendship, struggle, trust, and funny scenes in every ep. it's quite entertaining and light to follow. Zi Lu is quite eye candy here 😍. although 30 eps is a little too long and draggy sometimes.. Recommended for those of you who are looking for a light drama. But don't expect romantic scenes.
