So I’m guessing a lot happened in today’s episodes? --- yes that has been the case for past 5-6 episodes.. a lot is going on :)
Has she completely forgotten him as a person? I --- yes she has forgotten every thing related to DFYC, expected as a consequence of the sacrifice. 'UTTERLY forget the person you love' I am glad they stuck to their words and didnt take an easy route with partial memory loss or find some kind of loophole..

They showed all this in the Episodes released on Friday (yesterday).. I am just kidding.. Editing has been a problem yes, however, below is my understanding about the questions-
1. like Dana7 mentioned, DFYC had given 10 years of his vitality to stop it from disntigrating. After which he actually went on a suicidal mission including fake marrying BT, Ancectral chamber, Yin stone and so on. He left a butterfly message for THH that even he dies (which he thought he will), she can locate DFL soul. Which according to my interpretation shows that the soul was not dependent on DFYCs body. As far as flower, THH might have gotten another unaffected flower, but it can only be an assumption because it was never shown or mentioned in the episodes.
2. Tushan HULU- I agree with 847563. how I understand is, that this village is a part of Tushan kingdom (if I may call it so) but its not a main land where Tushan sisters+spirits live. Spirits including Tushan sisters live in a land which is spell guarded at the boundary, no one can enter without permission. Hulu seems to a uninhabited area outside that boundary. There was just 1 house where DFYC lived, and nothing else there.
I also noticed from DFYC and DFLs conversation today, that DFL is also not living in the main Tushan, he is living at 2 Peak mountain, a place only visited by THH and later by TRR and DFYC. Spirits do not live there too.
The fact that DFYC addressed THH as 'Honghong' (which he has never shown to have done before), instead of the usual 'Yāo xiān jiějiě' as soon as DFL came finding him.
That was him trying to prove a point.. this guy has not yet learnt the art of subtlety.

Exactly, it will only hurt her. Also she is aware of his love for THH, she mentioned it herself while their fake escape from Tushan. She should know she can be a friend and no more.

That means he also heard the conversation between TRR and DFYC, when she tried to tell DFYC how THH can not really make a choice. Logically he should have, because he remembers everything. Even recognized THH at the first glance.
Is it that DFL already knows DFYC is in love with THH, and that is why he came up with that manipulated or incorrect Emptyness Magic book? Considering the fact that there is something wrong with the book. If there is some other reason DFYC feels odd about this magic, then this assumption holds no ground.

I am glad liushang and Jiushang are his allies and besties. So much so that they are ready to help him. He has friends in Tushan, he has friends in human world too.. That's really nice..

Ohh he has always been the 'The Villain' of the show. He might not stand as tall as JFR/SJ in terms of power, but he is cunning, stays close by his targets, beautifully manipulative, he is all about action than word, he wants revenge doesnt really care even if he has to hurt someone who was nice to him (TYY). He is focused.. he will side with anyone if he can fulfill his person be a spirit like SJ or even a human like Nandong Shi.
I so want to see him even ditch SJ at one point in time. He is a villain on his own.

I was okay with him making his friend foxes keeping him busy. But magically breaking his chair.. then he also added "that DFL falling off the chair shook his entire house". I was like who do think DFL is? HULK??? ahaha..
That part was seriously mean.
However, if DFL has messed up with Emptyness magic which I believe he did, then the harm caused by him will be way more than DFYC making him repair his chair and house..
A bit of some random observations about costumes in today's episodes
1. THH- All red is stripped off of her, right from clothing to accessories. Possibly to represent this new 'loveless' phase of her life post Love Seed sacrificial event. As mentioned in another post of mine, red may emerge back to her wardrobe as love returns in her life.
2. GG- Darker clothes and Mask of his, possibly to show he has gone darker as a character too. He is even ruthless now. Manipulating DFYC in dream to make him kill DFL. Colluding with Nandong Shi to create misunderstandings between humans and spirits. He is possibly the one abducting/killing female YiQi disciples and Nandong in return is blaming spirit group to intensify the rift between two species.
Looked like GG with new look. The one manipulating DFYC to kill DFL was for sure GG.. One talking to Nandong Shi…
No idea. Common factor known as of now are- 1. They both have Dongfang last name. DfL was born centuries back though. So even if they are from same family tree they have uncountable generations of gap. 2. They both belong to Divine Flame Villa. 3. They both are connected with THH. DFL had know childhood THH and DFYC has shared 16 years of his life with grown up THH..
Why did DFYC call THH as chief in tomorrow' preview?? As much as I saw in episode 20, I am sure he is not aware of entire love sacrifice and THH forgetting him part. Does he call her chief because-
1. Someone tells him about her forgetting part before he actually meets her in tomorrow episode?
Or
2. He calls her so because THH made sure to make him feel like nothing more than passer by in her life and doesn't want anything from him. Hence, he no more want to force any kind of affection to her and therefore this formal way of greeting her when they meet?

Also her HongHong (红红) in chinese means Red .. she has to come back in red very soon once she feels her love for DFYC.
It would be interesting if red is added gradually to her wardrobe, in correlation with her feelings getting stronger and intensifed for DFYC
