Honestly I was shocked when their first kiss happened cause it actually looked like they cared about each other,…
I've disliked almost every single one of her projects that I've seen, but I adore her! I find decent Korean actresses are rarer than their male counterparts and she's on my list of 'will watch almost anything they are in'
won't lie i really am mostly watching for woo do hwan after being a long time fan of his, but this isn't as bad…
I think the concept is great, the world is very interesting, cinematography is solid, set design is stunning, and the back ground info is well done. However the script is so plain, and the main two characters make me wanna stuff cotton balls in my ears. It's like painting a masterpiece and then letting a kid fill in the blanks with a crayon.
Actually I don't watch american tv because they are usually badly written, there are some outliers but the majority…
Not sure I agree on kdrama end, but american shows definitely rely more on plot which is such a shame.
The main redeeming feature of umbrella academy is a solid cast of differing characters. Narratively speaking it's pretty lacking though.
IMO most kdramas can't get me to care about the characters. In this one it opened the story up like most other traumatized cop shows, but failed to make me connect with him first. As opposed to 365 repeat the year where they gave us enough time to fall in love with both the main and his partner before any disaster struck.
The reason we started watching Korean drama was because American films had to much bad language. I don't know…

I agree with your review although I gave 10/10! Because I love crime comedy and especially Yoon Shi Yoon in there.…
Ms. Jo from the audit team. She was only in like 7 eps overall but every scene she was in was devoted to her unconditional loyalty to In Woo. They did set it up that she might have a crush on In Woo and is ambitious, but her character completely throws out her ambitions for In Woo (she works in finance which means she's learned risk management and should have known that turning him in was much safer for herself and her career). She really only pops up to give In Woo whatever he needs.
I've noticed a lot of people are disappointed because it's more of a comedy. Congrats for sticking it out, I hope…
Honestly yeah, calling In Woo meticulous is kinda laughable. He's only meticulous when he has time. However when something unexpected happens he doesn't handle it well and tends to botch things up.
over the holidays I couldn't watch it raw, but I can finally watch it as it airs just in time for the finale!
I felt it dragged in the middle a bit but got back on it's feet around ep 12. I'm also a little sad, but once the show is over I can better discuss it with friends.

In Woo decorates in the blood of his victims, Park Sung Hoon prefers stickers.
