The beginning of episode 10, LOL. She has the nerve to tell him off after what just happened. For those who have watched this episode you'd understand.
Seconds of the show, it would be truley a great show.
But the ending is what can make or break a drama. The ending is what leaves you with the last impression, it's the icing on the cake. If not for that ending i would've given it a 9, instead i gave it a 6.
Yes and yes. Romance is not the focus. even though it's listed as a romance genre. And you can always tell by…
Well that's not what i meant when i said not a happy ending. Romeo and Juliet is not a good example because they both die together, so in way it's a happy ending because the leads aren't suffering alone and separated but die together for the love they have for each other. When i say sad ending i mean when the leads don't end up together, whether one of them dies or they go their separate ways. Go watch Moon Lovers, Love Me Or Leave Me and IRIS, now they are sad endings I'm talking about.

Give me an example of a happy ending not being a good ending, because i haven't seen one yet. The only people i believe that don't want happy endings are the ones suffering from second lead syndrome. How could anyone not want a happy ending and how could someone want a violent, toxic, sad ending? If you have an answer then please say because I don't get it.
I feel like it's also part of the social culture. It seems to be very normal for workplaces to go out for dinner…
Great thanks for the response. Yes I agree with everything you mentioned. I must also add that some countries especially Asian and Arab countries are heavily influenced by their past, history and culture. For example the drinking, how women are treated, abuse from people with power and age (this is from their hierarchical system) and lifestyle. I know all countries have issues with what I just mentioned, but I believe for Asians, Indians and Arabs it's in a way normal in their society, it's simply outdated. Every country has history but most countries from North and South America, Europe and Australia have evolved their beliefs while still keeping their culture.

Thanks for the in-depth informative response. Although it doesn't make sense to me why they drink like that (different culture) i can vaguely understand why they do it. Also another question i have, and feel free to respond if you know the answer. I noticed in many Kdramas employees are often slapped, punched and kicked by their employers without punishment. When I first started watching Kdramas I thought it was just a one off scene, but when I realised it was occurring many times I thought this must be happening in reality. It's ludicrous, it's assault, if this happened in my country the employer would never get away with it and be severely punished. It's like they're still living in the Joseon dynasty.
I have the same question about schools ? Is it really so stressful ? I mean almost every school drama there's…
Yes i think it is. Maybe not as dramatic, but to some point yes. And that's my question and point I'm trying to make. This @dreezy character seems to think it's all fiction and it doesn't happen in reality, lol.
Lol, TV shows in different countries are all different from each other because they have different cultures, different beliefs. It's not about fact or fiction, it's about the concept, the foundation that seperates dramas based off reality in each country, it's common sense. Lol.
I don't know the law, but there is certainly a punishment for it. The thing is though, that most of the times…
Yes I agree, I think it's very common in Asian countries but also Arab countries. It comes down to culture and the importance their history plays in their present. In Asian and Arab countries the lifestyle is similar to the past, for example how women are treated especially in the workplace, but in western culture women are or almost equal to men. By the way I love Taiwanese drama, almost every Taiwanese drama I've watched is a 10. I think from 2005 to now they've produced some of the best dramas I've ever seen.
I don’t understand why this had so many negative reviews. I really enjoyed it!
I had more excitement reading the description than watching this drama. There's a reason it has many negative reviews. Im not saying it was awful it just didn't live up to expectations.
Just finished this drama and it's not one I'd watch again. Looking at the title and reading the description i had high hopes for this one, but it just didn't do it for me. From the story, actors, chemistry between the leads, it just wasn't good, it was ok but nothing special. The FL was terrible, it's like she had no emotions for the ML even when they were together, it was all the ML doing the romancing. This drama may have been better with different actors, but i think if it was a Cdrama it would've been better.

Good answer👍 Their problem lies with their stupid, outdated hierarchical system. So the people with more power or the older the person believe they can do just about anything and get away with it and that's normal for them. It's true every country has cases of work place abuse from employers but I'd say it's much worse in South Korea. They need to get with the times, this isn't the Joseon Dynasty.
Lol, I'm talking about all or most Kdramas in general and how it relates to real life. Because unlike the majority of dramas in other countries most Kdramas show employers abusing employees without punishment as if it's a norm in South Korea leading me to believe it's based off reality.
