If you're reading the comments because you're not sure about this drama then maybe don't believe everything you read. This drama is worth watching, the acting, romance and story is amazing, a 10 out of 10. The dedication the ML has for the FL is outstanding. From beginning to end he dedicated his whole life just for her. He was never great at school but to protect and support the woman he loves he becomes a top student, successful in his career and a CEO at the company she works for so he can guide her, making sure she becomes the best version of herself. Now that's true love and a great story.
Doesn't beat Ashes of Love and Eternal Love but comes close. Also it seems they copied Ashes of Love in this drama a little bit. For example, the FL with the inability to love in the beginning, the ML is a phoenix and the death and resurrection of the ML. I was going to watch The Legend of Fuyao after this but I'll just settle for a drama less that 30 episodes for now.
I can literally say this back to Western dramas. For all the Western Drama's I've seen, their love never lasts,…
I have nothing against Cdrama, in fact i love watching it. I'm just curious how it relates to real life Chinese relationships, because I've noticed a trend in most Asian drama's but more so in Cdramas where the FL are usually naive, ignorant, oblivious, slow witted and foolish. I thought maybe women in Asian countries treat relationships in a certain way compared to western culture, and these dramas maybe based on real life Asian relationships. But like I said before I realise it's a drama and they do need to create entertainment, but we do see differences in relationships between these two cultures.
Off topic. This question if for anyone who lives in China or experienced living in China. Are relationships in China similar to the ones in Cdramas? I've watched quite a few now and I've noticed the FL are usually naive and stupid. Now i know they have to create drama because it's a show but they would have to base it off some reality. When you watch drama from western countries the FL are never like this, they don't fall for dirty tricks, believing words from a stranger instead of their loved ones, or giving up on a relationship because of useless, stupid misunderstanding that can be solved by just simply asking questions. I'm not saying it never happens in western dramas but in Cdramas it happens in every show. Which makes me believe it might happen often in Chinese relationships.

Yeah good, but just didn't like how the female character that was in love with the male lead but could never get him caused so much trouble and got away with. She never got punished for it.
Good show, i gave it 8.5. A few frustrating scenes that lasted a few episodes, and as usual like most Cdramas it's a misunderstanding brought upon by the annoyingly naive, ignorant, stupid female lead that will believe any information she receives from anyone except her boyfriend without even confronting him to find out the truth. I also find it bewildering when they break up with their partner because of an illness they don't reveal so they won't be a burden, when instead they should be honest and trust in their love for each other so they get the support that will help them recover. But other than that a good show.
