This is the speed run version of season 1 obviously it would be same
I'm looking forward to watching season 2 and then season 3 when it's finished. I'm still waiting because there's so many other dramas to watch that have already finished airing. How was the romance in season 2? I remember the ML was involved with 3 female characters in season 1. Does this continue in season 2?
The rating is low mainly because the 2ml didn't get the girl (too many fans of 2ml actor). But i also didn't like…
And that's why i won't watch this drama. With a FL like that, a SML getting more love from viewers even though he's a huge red flag, and the FL getting shipped with the SML is far too off putting to watch it.
💯👏 I also don't mind the trope either as long as it doesn't drag on for most of the show. But i do think the love triangles are necessary for character development between the leads. But i do prefer equal triangles between SML's and SFL's. Unfortunately, the majority of triangles are with SML's.
"There is another trope I find it ironic is female lead can have past romantic relationships be it either through dating or marriage while male lead is always shown to be single and having no relationship experience at all."
Those dramas are aimed at female viewers. The female audience doesn't want to see the ML with any other female characters except the FL. Even if it's a time before he meets the FL. That would make him an immediate red flag, which i don't believe is correct. Meanwhile, the FL can enjoy multiple male characters surrounding her, and that is considered normal. ML with SFL, "toxic." FL with SML, "you go girl."
1. That's nonsense. The FL in dramaland is the focal point in most dramas, and you know it.
2. That's exactly why i said women are the main protagonists and not men. So you're wrong. Also, as i mentioned before, the majority of viewers are female, and that's the reason female characters are the focal point. Just consider anime or other entertainment that has the majority of male viewers. The main protagonists are males with females hanging off them. That's normal.
3. And that's why i said these Cdramas and Kdramas have the female character as the main protagonist and not the male character. Whereas you mentioned, the ML is usually the main protagonist, and that's false.
That's not true at all. Most dramas have the FL as the main protagonist. That's with Most Cdramas and Kdramas. Dramas have mostly female viewers. Therefore, the FL is going to be the main character. For example, the typical and common love triangle between the ML, FL, and SML. The only reason you notice more men is because they're surrounding the FL throwing themselves at her, but that doesn't mean the male characters are the focal point. In fact, that just proves the FL is central and the male characters are revolving around her. These scenarios are far more common than a ML with a FL and SFL.
Does this drama only have one main lead? Judging from the poster, it looks that way. She's the centre and everyone else is secondary. I would've like to see the ML standing equally beside her, maybe even embracing each other instead of behind her like he's just a second lead. I hope the show isn't like that, i doubt it, but the poster is concerning.
Halfway through this. Very good so far. The romance progresses quickly in a way that even though they're not official together, their interactions show their feelings and give us enough to not make it a slow burn. Another positive is that it's kept me interested every minute of every episode. No boring bits. Then there's the second leads. I see what they're doing there. They took a page out of Business Proposal. Let's see how their relationship develops.
At least ML showed 2FL her boundaries, while FL ... well .. yeah exactly..
SML's can also be red flags and will still be shipped with FL's. Good or bad SML's, it doesn't matter, they will always have priority and will always get an abundance of screentime.
Meanwhile, it doesn't matter if SFL's are good or bad. Either way, they're considered toxic. ML's will have very limited time with them, and any time spent with them will be scrutinised.
Yeah I find the SFL annoying - she is always putting the FL down. She is also a preying mantis- it does not help.…
I didn't notice the SFL putting the FL down. She was always friendly with her. It was just those phone incidents in the past and present. But she wasn't cruel to the FL.
It's good. It's better than I expected. The first 6 episodes, i was concerned about their relationship because i didn't see any development between them, and it was already halfway through the drama, so i expected more by that point. But then it went supernova from episode 7 onwards, so that was great. I enjoyed the relationship between them in the past. They could have their own drama and I'd watch that. Overall a good watch, a good romcom.
Ok, I'm starting this now. But just so i understand the dynamics of their relationship, when do they start to like each other? Early on, or is it a slow burn?
idk what you are talking about , FL is really good , pretty , beautiful and that was her character according to…
I judged what i watched so far. I can't explain what i haven't seen. That's why i said i hope she goes through character development. If the misunderstandings are worked out and it's explained why her character is the way she is, then that's fine, but from what I've seen after completing episode 6, she's awful. And i never said anything about her not being pretty and beautiful. Why would you even bring that up? Her attitude and overreactions were awful even in the past. Don't you remember her stupid overreaction when she saw some girl confessing to him and she stormed off yelling at him to never call her again? And she knew he turned that girl down, so what more was he supposed to do? Her reaction was ludicrous. The ML also thought he was betrayed, but he didn't act awful with a childish attitude. He even saved her life and was helping her in the past and present without her even knowing. So you can't use the "she felt betrayed" excuse. Objectively, i judge what i see. So stop being biased.
So, let's get this straight. She gets angry at him and storms off when some girl confesses to him even though he rejects her, but she gets angry at him for being upset when the whole school thinks she's dating the student teacher. (This is partially her fault because she doesn't set boundaries and continues hanging out with the SML at every opportunity.) The ML can't catch a break. He's in for a tough relationship with this FL.
