Yeah sure I’m sorry >< after reading my comment I realized it might sound a bit harsh but I wasn’t trying to argue, just state my opinion on this topic. But anyway that doesn’t mean I don’t understand what it’s like, I just think it’s sad ;-;

Just because it’s cultural doesn’t mean it’s right ! Every culture (mine included of course) has its flaws and toxicity that we need to question and change. Condoning this type of behavior is wrong because it justifies what can’t be justified Just because it’s your parents doesn’t mean they are rights. Bad people can be parents too and they also have to be held accountable for their wrong actions. Now call us westerners and that’s ok but I truly believe that for the sake and well-being of millions of children, this mentality should change
I usually support all BLs and I watch everything but I don’t get why the rating for this on is so high 🤷🏼♀️
You mean low right ? This is actually an amazing idea to introduce likay in a BL series with real performers !!! We get to learn a lot about the Thai culture which is sooooo cool O(∩_∩)O~~
I only have one week to get ready to cry my eyes out for the last episode ;;;;-;;;; these people had the audacity to make it only 8 episodes like iabsisbsjsjsbqbjqjajan I’m ready to slap them with my fluffy unicorn ┻━┻︵╰(‵□′)╯︵┻━┻
well if i was in Prem shoes i definitely cut off parents the moment I heard Pat got into accident because of their…
Family culture in a lot of countries in Asia can be so bad when you grow up in an abusive family. Cutting ties with them permanently is seen as something completely wrong so you basically have to deal with it… Family always have to come first in your priority
Like seriously I am so tired of this 😭, like I understand family is important but this went so far, yet a simple…
When he answered that I was laughing so loud like « oh you dare ??? » the audacity I could never 😭🤚🏽 To me they’re the reason why Pat had an accident and nobody can change my mind. The father also only saw his (gigantic) mistake when the mother told him she wouldn’t side with him anymore. That means he didn’t feel anything when her daughter said she didn’t want to live anymore. If you love your child only when they become what you want them to be, you don’t actually love them.
No really I’m going to repeat my question : do people have to (almost) die in order to finally get back to your senses ? And even after that you’re going to lie to your daughter again ? Smile so happily at the man you forced onto her and whom she’ll never love ?
And finally : how could you forgive them ? I know people who went no contact with their parents for way less than that. Still, Prem (and Pat’s family who almost lost their daughter) chose to forgive the most selfish, manipulative, and crazy parents you’ve ever seen. Those two snakes also had the audacity to say « sorry » and thought that could make up for everything they have done.
I know that in Thailand family come first, but at what cost ? Me personally, I would have never forgive them. Ever.
The story ain’t about the palace politics though. Its called ‘That Summer’ It’s a love story that occurs…
Yeah I totally get it ! I wasn’t here for a big political plot too xD I think my comment wasn’t really clear to be fair, but I just wished the situation at the palace was more coherent. It’s not about spending hours showing everything, only some crucial parts about what is happening to the parents and the sister, if they are looking for a way to find the Prince and that’s it
I still love everything about the rest of the story but it’s just that one detail that bothers me the most
I totally agree with you. It's not that I'm into those politics etc. But i think it is indeed an issue if your…
This is exactly what I wanted to point out and you formulated it perfectly! I also found the scene with the mother quite unsettling : why don’t we see them going to an orphanage instead ? No mother who loves her child like she does would give her baby like that, especially since she could receive the support she wants thanks to the solidarity of the village. But whatever I know it’s just a fiction
I don't know exactly how but Idol Factory will mess this up. I just want a IFYLITA kind of series. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻…
To be fair the most recent Idol Factory series are really good ! They spend a lot of attention to details and the budget is even bigger each time I’m pretty sure (and I sincerely hope) this is going to be amazing <3
I don’t really know how to say this, but this series is done pretty weirdly (._.) Mind you, I absolutely love the island life, the relationship between Lava and Wave, the second lead couples, etc.. but there are so much stuff that are being left out : we don’t know anything that’s actually happening in the palace even though the family of the Prince is literally being HOLD HOSTAGE. We’re missing out on so much stuff to be honest, they’re not developing the political parts and basically just showing us what’s happening on the island which makes it drag the story a bit.
Because now that we said that, are you telling me that in the next (and last) episode, everything is just gonna be fine and settled when the Prince comes back even though they was a fight for the throne ? This just doesn’t make sense to me. Or maybe I just misunderstood something and you tell me xD
I’m just sad because I really enjoyed the story, the character developments, etc... but it still has many flaws T^T
You must be one sick fellow as a straight woman t come under a gay show telling us how you prefer “muscular”…
Period ! If we support the LGBTQIA+ community, we have to accept them in their entire diversity ! Applying stereotypes like that is so harmful and is exactly the reason why we are called fetichists
Well I finally have time to continue this series but there’s something I don’t understand
How the hell did SSY did not recognize HY in ep9 ??? It makes absolutely no sense because he saw his face and heard his voice like I genuinely don’t understand
