Liking the fact that the drama/crime is taking precedence and the BL (or ML since these are MEN, not boys) is secondary to the plot. They're doing a good job with the mystery and investigation.
I know I'm in the minority here, but the only thing I DON'T like about this show is Film. I don't believe a word he says. And not because he's sly and complex and hiding things... just because Film always looks like he's putting on airs, trying too hard. It's forced and unnatural to me. It doesn't seem like he's a fit for this type of character. I don't find him charismatic at all, just phony. Jam on the other hand, can do no wrong. Every look is subtle and believable. I'm falling for him more and more every episode. But that's just me.
A middling show for me. Always happy to see an adult love story, with complex characters and more than just the love story to propel the plot. But somehow I just felt distanced from these characters and their situation. Despite some decent performances, I just didn't care. I actually might have preferred to stay with the teen boys and see more of the story revolve around them. (I know that would be a DIFFERENT story, but I was more invested in the kids than the adults). Not bad, just not as strong as I would have hoped given the unique storyline.
This is ok. And Ki Hyun Woo is beautiful, but for some reason the sexual harassment bothers me more here than in other series. It's just so blatant and Lee Jun is clearly so uncomfortable. And when you sit on someone's boner... stand up! Don't just sit there. Unless you're gonna "help".
I’m not even sure why I bother watching this anymore. I’m really close to dropping it. Considering the author…
Not that I disagree, but just wanted to clarify because I had to think twice abut it as well.... When Yiwa says, "we've been together 13 years" she's talking about Lom. The flashback clearly showed she met Marine 2 years ago.... not that that makes it any better. Haha
I love Ja and First, but I’m really struggling with Ja playing someone obviously way younger than he is. Do…
"Third-year film student Punn gets an internship on the set of a drama." (From MDL description).
So he's supposed to be 19/20 years old. And he's only 25 IRL. He's not that far off from his character's age - but they are making him act like a 12 year old.
