Title La Pluie Spoiler
Many of you have addressed the 8 hours it took the car to come get Tai/Patts... but what about the entire camp being distressed to the point of tears when Tai is gone for 5 whole minutes. I mean, Patts literally comes back seconds after being kissed and people are acting like Tai has been missing for 48 hours. No one even says, maybe he went for a walk. They just all assume he's in perilous danger. Who needs logic. It's BL.

a little cliché with the school to work relationship, but sometimes you need a comfort drama that's predictable.
Yes, finding a BL that isn't ridden with cliches is a challenge. Fingers crossed for this one.

Facts. Extroverted people are so charming sometimes but it's also exhausting.
But they got alone time in the end and he even got the cheek caress. It’s worth the effort

Having dated 2 introverts, I can add that they are not easy, either.

You seem to be pretty irritated by one small scene. I get that you may have disliked many things, and that this…
Forgive my rant, but you are right it wasn't just that scene, it was the last few episodes and that scene just set me off. I know what their intention was - Patts is so caught up in his love he is forgetting to eat! He has kind-hearted friends who worry about him. Isn't this a sweet wonderful world! - but it's a scene with no purpose. it doesn't move the plot forward or give any new character information. It's a waste of screentime. And then they repeat themselves. But obviously you liked it. Art affects us all differently. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!

I'm getting bored with this one, despite the sexy scenes! I really need Thai screenwriters to take some classes. They waste so much time on inconsequential scenes, like an entire scene where everyone at the picnic table just keeps telling Patts to eat over and over again... only to repeat the same dialogue a few seconds later when Tai shows up and we get the entire thing all over again. On top of that... has ANYONE ever been berated by the friends for not eating quickly enough? It's just not realistic and entirely inane. Unless his non eating made him weak and he fainted and that lead to something - but no, this is just a bunch of people being bossy about something that, in truth, no one cares about at all. I like Tai, I like Tien. Bow is okay. But I think I'll DROP this one.

A HORRIBLE trailer that gives you no sense of the series, nor the "unique" aspects (claimed by the trailer) it will portray, nor any character impressions. A 7 minute trailer, shouldn't spend one entire minute following a boy walking down a path, admiring the scenery. What does that do to compel us to watch? Looks to be filled withe more Filipino trans characters that they use for over-the-top comedy only. I'll watch the first ep when it comes out, but I have little hope for this one.

I agree with the makeup, but I could overlook that lmao but the hair was something else 😭 as for yutaka’s…
All good points, and as I said, my criticisms are minor. I'm with you... the hair! OMG the hair!

Title Our Dining Table Spoiler
This was wonderful. So many cute, heartfelt moments. Both characters are so wounded and fragile, frightened and alone and the actors did a great job getting all of that across, while also showing their heart, their warmth, their tenderness and kindness. The relationship between Minoru and Tane was simply gorgeous.

I do think that Yutaka was a bit too fragile. His trauma seems to be based on one comment and a couple of instances where his brother was selfish. I'm sure that would actually cause some trauma for a child, but this felt a bit extreme to me. And to have it all solved with one simple sentence from the brother seemed a tad easy. And the way he became immobilized by fear when presented with the idea that Minoru (a man) was attracted to him seemed a bit too much as well. It was as if he had never gone out in public before and did not understand any social signals. Again, this is all realistic from a trauma pov, and was within the character parameters but I thought it was just played a bit too heavily.

But those are minor quibbles in what was otherwise delightful. Finding your chosen family, a place where you belong, where you fit in, feel comfortable, accepted. Finding "my place" - is a beautiful message and makes for a heartfelt series. Minoro, Tane and their Dad are the perfect family. I wish I could be part of it myself. And I'd eat those grenades every day, just like Tane.

And I was happy with Yutaka's family's storyline as well. It was obvious they cared for him, with all of their calls and invitations, so I was happy with the resolution. I actually wished we would have seen both families together at the end. I think that would have fit in perfectly. Your family and your chosen family together.

I don't know if I will watch the entire series again, but I will certainly come back for an episode or two to spend time with this charming family and just to see Tane's smile again. That would brighten any day for me.

As a side note - did Minoru's make-up get heavier as the show progressed? The last 2 episodes I felt like he was a ghost with all the white make-up on his face.

Just finished the series. This was just okay, despite its high production value and what could have been compelling character backstories.

I never really liked JYJ as a character, and Zuho didn't do anything to change my mind. His acting really got in the way for me. I just didn't believe him, most of the time. I found him stiff and vacant. Kim In Sung however gave me all the feels. He can certainly act, and boy is he beautiful. Because I never connected with JYJ's character, I just never felt invested in any of the storylines. I didn't care if he got love for himself and wanted SHJ to find someone better.

I hadn't really noticed it earlier, but the editing and story-telling in the last two episodes was almost confusing. It was as if they had filmed 4 times too much material and had to edit it down to a couple of brief moments to finish off all the storylines -- which they actually did not do. I feel the story was only half told. I don't know if there are plans for a S2, but it would not surprise me, because it seems they ended where a new chapter could begin. Unfortunately, I won't watch that one, because this one did not really grab me enough. Despite truly rich fodder for storylines

Love the setting. Ye Chan is adorable. Love the neighbors and cracked up when that goat appeared in the road. "Have you seen this dog/Have you seen a goat?" Curious about the "mystery" that they seemed to imply in the first episode with the scythe and the mysterious men. Although I'm pretty sure that was a misdirect, but we shall see. Curious to see more. Fingers crossed.

I'm not a big fan of supernatural Bl, but so far they are doing this one right. They haven't forgotten their own rules and logic, like so many. I hope the fantasy element continues throughout the series. Gawin is such a dream. Can't wait til the obligatory, fresh out of the shower scene. Hehe

I read that one of the actors was replaced at the last minute. Does anyone know who was the original and who was the last minute rpelacement?

I liked parts of this. A sweet, heartwarming story. Bittersweet love affair. I appreciate the medical storyline, although I always wish for more real life info when they incorporate big, weighty ideas like this into any BL or other type of drama. I thought they handled the love triangle fairly well, although some more conversations between Justin and Eli could have helped. Overall, the acting was just decent. The boys seem like newbies. Not bad performances, but just lacking in confidence. Felt like the animated emojis were a rip off of other BL, most notably Heartstopper - which is a pretty high mark to try to reach, never mind rip off. But all in all a decent series. One of the better productions out of the Philippines. I probably won't watch again, because it just doesn't rise to the top, but worth a viewing.

This was just okay. Sub-par. The whole set-up was kinda ridiculous. I didn't buy the whole, "I'm fine with being alone". You don't go out on dates with guys if you're fine being alone. And the original app was something no one would ever buy.

I found Ha Ram incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Hyun Min had a habit of staring blankly just off-screen. It made him feel completely detached and made it hard to connect with him as a character. Okay, his boyfriend cheated on him and then dumped him by text - but come on, the guy was nearly comatose. Then he makes a quick abrupt turn and date mates Ha Ram and suddenly he's all butterflies and rainbows. Then the quick reversal when the ex shows up. None of it felt plausible from a character standpoint. I didn't find the actors believable. They looked stiff and uncomfortable (Hyun Min was a good sport, but he looked so awkward during that elongated kiss). This just wasn't my cup of tea. Nothing to recommend here. I will not watch again.
