Not loving Nuea as a character or Pak's portrayal. I can't stand those guys who looks petrified for 90% of every episode. But Sunny is so handsome, I'll give it a few eps before I decide.
i thought what rang was some kind of a backup alarm/regular everyday alarm. he had set an earlier alarm on his…
@Thinkblanket but even that scenario is ridiculous. You set a back-up alarm... but it's not enough time to get ready. Why not set your back-up alarm to give you enough time? It doesn't make any sense.
@Kokos. LOL, yes, we need the conflict. Here's an idea... have them forget to set the alarm altogether. Now they're really late. Problem solved.
But BL Pet Peeve... who sets their alarm so they will be late? This happens all the time in BL. The alarm goes off and they are frantic to get to work/school on time. Why wouldn't you set your alarm for 30 minutes earlier? Just plain stupid writing.
Ep 1 was an ok set up. Not a fan of this style, but intriguing premise and the leads are hot, so I'll give it a couple of eps to see, but not expecting much. What's with the ring on the Charn's necklace?
Eh. This is just ok, so far. I hate lazy writing and there's lots of it here, as well as poor direction, editing and subpar acting. I will give it one more episode, but I don't think I can stomach this one.
I'm enjoying this, but I feel like I'm watching a different show from the rest of you. Lots of mixed messages and "What the...?" moments for me.
Ren has liked Kazuma since HS. And it SEEMS Kazuma liked Ren. Now, ten years later, Kazuma definitely likes Ren, and Ren still seems to like Kazuma... but neither admits it. Ren even says a couple of times that Kazuma is not gay, and Kazuma never corrects him. They agree to be in a FWB relationship. I've had plenty of those. And none of them were as intimate as these two. All these rules are established, then seem to be abandoned. Now they're eating ice cream together and acting like boyfriends. Which is it? Are you friends, FWB or boyfriends?
Obviously, there's darker stuff going on, stuff that Ren refuses to admit, even after Kazuma begs him. I'm intrigued, but I feel like they are being wishy washy with their characters and relationship.
do u like me ? how is it possibly we are moving backwards since season 1.. and why is minato still acting jumpy.…
BL Writers... please let adults act like adults. They still have "issues" and can give you plenty of story fodder without the "he touched my hand without telling me" behavior.
Some cute moments, but this could have been reduced by half the episodes and I probably would have liked it better. Yutaro is great. I fell in love with him in Cherry Magic and I'm delighted to see him in a larger role. Kondo Shori had some nice moments. His deer-in-the-headlights look is adorable and he gets to do it quite often. Loved all the side characters, and the beautiful setting. Wish I lived in a village like this. The whole 'naked dining' seemed like just a tease to get viewers interested, but didn't really impact much of the story. The middle got frustrating and repetitive. All in all, decent and I might watch an episode again, though certainly not the entire series.
Just finished. Cute, sweet, fluffy. Loved the setting and this different kind of story. Do Won is beautiful. Yoon Do Jin is cute, but I felt like his acting was a bit forced and unnatural. He's still charming and appealing, but I didn't believe an awful lot of his acting. I kept wondering what Lee Jae Bin would have done with this role. A cute set of village characters, all appealing in their own way that round out this world nicely. The story is fairly flat, not a lot of tension, just a sweet little love story. The angst with Dad and the career at the end felt kinda shoved in, in a typical "it's the 2nd to last episode, we have to add a complication" type of way. But all in all, cute and satisfying. Not sure if I will watch again, but might if I need some sugary sweetness for 26 mins or so.
I just have to say, Pat is kind of annoying, like I get being a little apprehensive about, you know, entering…
One of the most over-used tropes in BL is the clueless virgin. As if boys don't start thinking about sex at age 12 (or sooner). But he's not a virgin. He's had a gay relationship. He should know CLEARLY what's going on. And stop being such a coward about EVERYTHING. Getting invited out to drinks with friends makes him cringe and curl up his lips in that weird way. And from the trailer, it looks like he's going to become a manager at work??? He has no leadership skills at all. Glad i dropped this one
