A King without an heir leaves the throne unsecured. The Queen dowager and his uncle want the throne to remain in the family. Also the fl is an unknown element. They can’t control her so they must remove her.

She was just shaking in her boots in that last scene. She is lucky the King loves her. From the preview he will give her a tongue lashing..

Of course her blood will be on FL hands. That as cruel as it is might be the best thing to bring the fl back to her senses and stop this stupid revenge. She has been acting like she is a saint living in a utopia and the King is the evil wolf. Now if the Queen dies because of her then she is no better than the king she wants to dethrone.

Also the queen dying will pave the way for the fl to marry the king

From the preview the Queen might take the fall. Someone has to be the scapegoat. It’s such an obvious crime that’s why the King was furious from the preview. It’s a death penalty crime.

It was the comments here that branded him as bad. I really never saw him myself as bad just a ruler that has to make hard decisions.

Ep 10- What a blunder!! Mongwoo has finally put herself in trouble. Gosh!! How will she come out of this. From the preview it seems the Queen will take the blame to save them all. Substitution and deception in this situation is punishable by death because it is a crime against the king. You can see how terrified Mongwoo was at the thought of the King finding out while playing baduk.

Mongwoo needs to realize how much the king loves her and protects her. If it was any other king she would be dead by now. She needs to let go of this silly revenge that doesn’t make sense. The King did not kill her friend directly nor was it his fault her father was taken by the Qing.

She is just heartbroken and using revenge to assuage her hurt. Now she has promised Myung ha and the one eyed man revenge so she doesn’t know how to backtrack without seeming like a traitor.

Oh! What a tangled web we weave!!!

My favorite character in all this is the King!! Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. A ruler needs to take hard decisions. I don’t blame him at all.

Now the king she is trying to dethrone will have to rack his brains thinking of a way to save her!! What a mess!!
Mongwoo needs to come to her senses and shower him with lots of love and kisses and smooches. Treat your King right damnit!!!

Now that the King knows Mongwoo is a woman if he catches Myung Ha any close to her the jealousy will go into overdrive. 😀

The King is always acting so tough when he has been crazy about Mongwoo all these years to the extent that when it rains he goes insane. If she hadn’t stopped him i believe he would have just left her and gone to the palace to pace and think all night. He would not have ordered her death.
