So from the trailers Sanpang and Lili will become a couple. Flashback to episode 1 where all 4 of them celebrated New Year’s Eve as a family. If keeping it in the family was a drama 🙂

Why didn’t i see the scene where Qian was sleeping in the car and Yuan was standing by the side of the window watching him sleep? From the clothes it was when they got to the river. But this scene was not shown. Was it cut out?

I can’t wait for episode 6. 🙁 I just came to the realization that i love ‘Hopeless love’ tropes where the character in love does not think his love will be reciprocated and then boom it is. BL dramas like cherry magic, old fashioned cupcake, unintentional love etc. I love the look of awe and worship the character gets when he realizes his love interest loves him back.

I agree completely. Absence will help them both. Qian to realize Yuan is not his brother but an adult male with a mind of his own and Yuan to realize that his love for Qian is real and not just hero worship.

Exactly. The younger brother in history 4 had a screw loose. The writers tried to romanticize rape. But this drama is nothing but pure love and adoration. Yuan adores Qian. He would never hurt him or force him.

I feel he is not aware. Perhaps he is aware in his subconscious that Yuan’s display of love and tenderness is weird (like sleeping wrapped around each other on the same bed) but has rationalized it on his mind. He still sees Yuan as that lonely boy needing affection.

Exactly. He acts like their father 😂 It would take some major mind shift for him to see Yuan as a lover. Yuan must feel so hopeless. I can’t imagine the joy he would feel when Qian finally accepts him. I hope this drama will show how Qian starts to develop feelings for him cos pseudo father to lover is hard.

Qian clearly is such a good person he sees Yuan as a blood brother and does not treat him less. His love is so pure that it would definitely be hard for him to see his younger brother in a romantic and sexual way. This will take some major mind shift on his part. A lot of pain and tears coming soon.

You seem to be confusing reality with bl. You have not seen “straight guy becomes gay tropes” in bl? Or the phrase “I am not attracted to guys only to you”? Dramas where the character never felt any sexual or romantic interest towards any male until meeting his love interest? This
is boys love not lgbtq drama. In the context of this drama Qian ‘becomes’ gay.

His assertion is the reality in so many cultures. We do not live in a gay utopia. And he is obviously not aware of Yuan’s feelings. Who would think that your adopted brother who you have parented from childhood is romantically in love with you??

What on earth? Where in this drama is there a suggestion that Qian is even remotely aware of Yuan’s feelings for him? And Pincolino’s comment up there is exactly the situation at the fishing scene. Qian was saying that is harder for family to accept a gay person when it is member of the family and Yuan reminded him that they were not blood family. Yuan is trying to make him stop seeing them as blood brothers.

😂 Wth? From what they have shown so far the fl was the last one to enter, she met her son in the garden and left him there to meet her husband and they were together when they heard the dog backing. So how could the husband have been the one to leave the gate open?? Seriously! 😒
