Three times while watching I said out loud "This is such a f&cking great episode!"Then I got to Part 4. That left…
What I loved about the kiss was that it was exactly how two guys would kiss when they've both been yearning for a such a long time and finally get to go for it. The hunger was real!
Until today I thought "To My Star" had the best kiss in BL but with this episode "Bad Buddy" took the gold.

I'd been wondering how they'd be able to take the two guys from friendship to "something more", especially with all the clowning around that we've seen from the beginning. Kudos to the writers, director, and especially the actors. In lesser hands it could have been a disaster.
But Ohm and Nanon are in it to win it. The buildup of Pat's feelings as he watched Pran and Wai together could not have been better done. The scene with the three of them was red hot. By that point the tension was almost unbearable and you knew that something (or someone) had to give. And I'm so happy that it was Pat! Given the dynamic between him and Pran I just felt that it would have to be him. They could have made us wait until next week to see if that "moment" would happen at all but thank god they didn't! And what a moment it was!!!!
With GagaOOLala actually contributing to this comment page you'd think you'd restrain yourselves a little before telling people to watch the series on pirate platforms.
Watching this now after seeing a couple of the other iQiyi "idol survivor" shows as well as the Chuang shows I'm more and more convinced that contestants like Cai Xukun are recruited by the producers and that their success is a foregone conclusion.
How many of the groups that emerge from these shows have ever lasted for more than a year? Say what you want about Enhyphen, but in their case it seems like I-Land really wanted to create a idol group with staying power.
Loving this show but I feel they should have categorised them according to their main role and then have them…
... and at some point, big points for winning physical challenges can start to favor idols who aren't as skilled. The reward of the beef BBQ was a nice idea (although I was glad that all the boys eventually got to share in it.)
It’s certain to be a “jealousy/breakup” plot because that’s what Season 2 is for any series. I just hope it’s Seojoon who’s the jealous one because Jiwoo risked so much in letting his guard down and accepting Seojoon.
do u have any dislike contestant here? just wanna share mine but i wont mention his name. i already don't like…
The only one I despise is Im Joo An ... the "leader" who abandoned his team. I'm only up to Episode 7 and so far his treachery seems to have paid off, but I hope that justice will prevail in the end.
I've seen music videos that tell a more complete and coherent story.
The short length of this series isn't the reason why people think it sucks, and its short length isn't a reason to excuse its flaws. They had the same screen time to work with as an 80-minute film. They probably wrote the script in one afternoon over drinks by the pool. ^_^
It occurred to me today that what were the chances that Jang Eui Soo would have had a lead role in what's arguably the most ground-breaking Korean BL, only to later take a lead role in what is one of the worst BLs ever, Korean or otherwise.
If he's truly quitting BL drama now then he should have quit while he was ahead.
It's just miraculous. Paced so beautifully, with so many sweet and funny moments to carry the story along. I know at some point the nasty parents will reappear but for now I will bask in the sunshine.
I had a pretty bad week but this washed all the stress away. I just love this series! In a way it makes me second-guess many of the 10/10 ratings I've given because I can't remember ever enjoying one so much.
I finished it and it's so lacking that it makes me sad. I wonder if the production companies really believe they can throw together something this terrible and still have the audience eating out of their hands.
(I myself watched it right to the end. So there you go.)
The actors are pretty disciplined to be able to do scenes with that tacky white ferris wheel contraption and keep a straight face.
The best thing about this series was how mercifully short it was. I suppose the "movie edit" is next.

This series is a f&cking masterpiece!

I agree on your choice of standout KBLs ... I've watched "To My Star" several times and have used it to introduce friends to my obsession.
