I think a lot of series trailers serve as proposals for sponsorship and financing. Like, if you watch 'Why R U's trailers you notice how different the actors look and how the scenes don't all show up the same way in the series. The trailers were filmed well before series production actually started.
I'm pretty sure that's the situation with the trailer for 'Bad Buddy' too. But that series definitely got financial backing and should be out later this year or maybe early next year.

Agreed. Look at these people tying themselves in knots trying to rationalize that stupid line of dialog. No, it's not an expression of some kind of exotic sexuality. It's avoidance, pure and simple.

Not sure ... I don't know if they've even started production yet. But at least the big scare is past us and they were able to get funding and the series will come to be, and with the same cast.

You make some excellent points. I guess with Pi being judged negatively for his appearance all his life, he has come up with a strategy of 'hit them first before they get a chance to hit ME.' Unlearning that will take time.

Such a good show. In this episode I really thought Gene saying to Aoey, "You're really gay?!" was funny, and Tiffy…
Poppy is great. I have seen him do comedy roles and that seemed like it would be his contribution for this series, but here he showed how he can take a sudden turn with his performance and deliver something dramatic and powerful.
That wasn't even a kiss, it was just a peck. GMMTV at it again. At least it's not a hi5.
If it had been a real kiss then that would have reflected poorly on Mork. Pi was drunk and didn't know what he was doing. I'm glad it went only as far as it did.
The brothers are so unlikable. Why does Mork feel any attraction for Pi at all? And Duean is just a big-mouth who apparently is destined to fall for Meen (yeah, that makes sense). I ended up skipping that unbelievably tiresome 'water bottle' sequence, and having Duean scream into the camera is not my idea of entertainment.
(By the way, the water fight in 'Love Sick' was 100x better. The writer for this series was dumb to even tread there.)
I'll keep watching but only because I know that eventually Mork will sour on Pi and that's when Pi will start to resemble a human being.
Lowered my score from 10 to 7. I haven't been this disappointed since '2gether'.

It's got a super-positive outlook on human nature. There's none of that fake conflict that goes unresolved for multiple episodes. People talk to each other and work things out.
So that was fine - not the best ep, but they did resolve a few things and Nick finally had a decent day. I hope…

In keeping with the benevolent perspective of the writing, the teacher confesses honorably and accepts the reply, and the taker of the deceptive photo is exposed but redeemed.
Something tells me that Tri and the twins might become an item by the end of the series.
I think that the possible-player boy might actually like Nick because he admitted that he's a player. I don't think players self-disclose like that with the people they want to take advantage of. :) Given the track record of this series I think that they're setting Nick up to have a love interest who will take his mind off Prab.
