Hmmm, since the comments are confusing !!!! Is it worth watching it ????
It's got a super-positive outlook on human nature. There's none of that fake conflict that goes unresolved for multiple episodes. People talk to each other and work things out.
So that was fine - not the best ep, but they did resolve a few things and Nick finally had a decent day. I hope…
Arrgh the music! I had to stay ready with the volume control the entire episode.
In keeping with the benevolent perspective of the writing, the teacher confesses honorably and accepts the reply, and the taker of the deceptive photo is exposed but redeemed.
Something tells me that Tri and the twins might become an item by the end of the series.
I think that the possible-player boy might actually like Nick because he admitted that he's a player. I don't think players self-disclose like that with the people they want to take advantage of. :) Given the track record of this series I think that they're setting Nick up to have a love interest who will take his mind off Prab.
Waiting for a series where the main lead is gay from the start, and he says the opposite of "I don't like guys,…
I literally said "Oh my god" out loud when Li Cheng said that. It feels so outdated now, and for me this series is already hanging on by a thread because in general I can't summon any amount of caring for the two couples. There's also zero effort by the screenwriter to make the stories reasonably plausible.
But to your other point, actually there *are* series with gay leads. Not always both leads, but at least one identifies as gay or at least shows zero inclination towards the opposite sex.
- Second Chance - Fish Upon the Sky - Manner of Death - ITSAY - He's Coming to Me <-- in this one, the character discusses his sexuality with a friend - HIStory 2: Right or Wrong - Love with Flaws (it's a side story, but still ...) <-- both guys identify as gay
I see your point. Prab also takes care of him but I think he holds back because of the stepbrother relationship.I…
The series has proven to be a humanistic look at how people should relate to one another -- lots of mutual understanding from talking things out. (Tri even managed to talk very frankly with Prab. More power to him!)
So I fully expect a positive ending but maybe they'll dangle a little cliffhanger in addition to that, to keep us excited about Season 2.
I enjoyed the scenes at the promotional event much more than the first part of the episode.
The WeTV version is uncut, which for me demonstrates why there's sometimes a lot of wisdom in editing scenes that just go on for too long. I'm expecting that this uncut version is intended to reward viewers with the extra fluff at the beginning while the cut version will shorten those scenes and leave the rest intact. Otherwise the episode feels unbalanced, allowing attention to wander during the first part then riveting us toward the end.
I'm disappointed that Aoey is devolving into yet another deluded suitor who won't give up on chasing a guy even after he's been rebuffed over and over. No matter how you slice it, that kind of person is deranged. (BLs didn't invent this trope. Some of the m/f Cdramas I've watched turn it into an art form, and furthermore drag it out for 40 episodes.)
Meanwhile, this series has squandered the sympathy that I had for Aoey after the scenes at home with his family. I hope they'll do something to recover.
Now that Nubsib's link to Gene has been revealed, has anyone rewatched the earlier episodes to see if they noticed little 'tells' or other details that had gotten past you before?
Right now I'm praying that Hu Yetao gets to stay, because if he doesn't it's gonna mentally destroy me...
His decline in the ranking is a good example of why I've decided that this 'competition' is so slanted in favor of certain contestants that I don't bother to watch the full episodes anymore. Fashion shoots, fan meets, diary videos, etc. .... the goodies don't get spread around evenly, and the bias is clearly showing.
I hope a shrewd production company recognizes the unique talent that Hu Yetao is and gets him on track to stardom.
And the boys are cute+ .

I'm going to miss this series so much.

Sequels rarely are.

I'm going to miss this show when it's finished. Thank goodness we already know there will be a Season 2.
I really like Tri, though. Suddenly I felt SLS this week. He deserves to be happy. He's been a kind suitor and like you say, he is so good to Chol.
