Nat was underage when they filmed 'Why R U' so his scenes in that series were very tentative. It looks like he had a lot of fun letting it all out with the role in 'Y Destiny'. He's an adorable little devil and is perfectly matched with Max.

When watching the premier, did anyone else experience sound issues? The soundtrack seemed to be playing on two identical tracks, with one slightly ahead of the other. Lines of dialog were heard twice, etc.
This was what I got when I watched but now that it's a regular video the sound is fine.
I kept thinking how they could try and try but there was no way to make me believe that Pi had an 'unattractive' phase and would be shunned.
But, true to Asian drama tradition (they do it in the m/f dramas too), they have a character wear eyeglasses and 'voila!', suddenly the world thinks they're ugly.

To address the question of whether a boy as young as seven or eight could 'like' another boy, I'll tell some of my own history.
My earliest memory of realizing I'm gay is when I was around that age. I attended a private school, and the entire school was on an outing at a park. As everyone was making their way back to the cars so that we could head back to the school, a boy who was four years older walked beside me, and as he talked to me he casually put his arm around my shoulder. I can still remember the sensation that went through me at that moment. I felt a little light-headed and was probably blushing. Whatever the case, I have never forgotten it, or him.
At the age of eight or nine I remember 'wrestling' with my best friend and becoming aroused. It has always stuck with me because even at that time, I knew it was something I shouldn't mention or let my friend detect.
I have a couple more things I could relate, all of them occurring before I was 10 years old because they all took place in Florida, and my family moved away from Florida when I was 10. Two 'friends' in particular stand out because I realize now that I had strong feelings for them -- something that we might characterize today as 'liking' them.
Would I still like them if we were reunited today? I don't know. But it has helped me relate to this week's episode.

Some nice musical scores turning up lately -- the one for '1000 Stars' is to die for too. Songs are nice but nothing sets a mood like a good orchestral score.

The overreactions here are pretty funny. No, the screenwriter won't be winning a Pulitzer anytime soon. And the characters won't stand up to close psychological examination based on real life. But there are plenty of Thai BLs where we could say the same thing.
Do people on here every gauge their standards according to the medium they're watching? "The actors didn't look like they'd aged two years", "who would ever play with toys like that?", and my favorite: it makes no sense that two people who had affection for each other in their youth would grow up to fall in love.
Everybody complains that these series hardly ever try anything new, but on the rare occasion when one does it gets pecked to death by those same mother hens. *Cluck cluck*.
Your fashionable cynicism isn't insightful. It's boring and misplaced.
So far it's inexplicably bad, but I'm hoping the plan was to start by burning off the worst episodes. (Which wouldn't make sense, I admit -- the idea is to attract an audience, not repel it.)
On the other hand, could this possibly be a satire on BL? The 'enemies to lovers' trope is resolved so ridiculously and the fluff that follows is so relentless and absurd that it makes me wonder.

Like, 'Tuesday' was broadcast on Tuesday -- will 'Wednesday' be on Wednesdays, 'Thursday' on Thursdays, etc.?
Or will this series be aired only on Tuesdays from now on ...?
