I totally agree with you! (But the incest part, since it’s not, by definition. They really managed to make it…
I agree 100%. If it would be okay for them to date if they were not blood-related and were raised entirely separately, what changes if they happen to live in the same house for some amount of time?
I think the taboo for unrelated siblings is just spill-over from the one for blood-related ones. The one for blood-related relatives was established way back when step-families weren't very common.

I don't have a problem with step-brothers getting together if they're unrelated by blood. I might be wrong, but anthropologically speaking the taboo about incest probably came from observing the negative result of inbreeding amongst family members who are indeed related by blood.
I find it hard to insist upon restrictions for two people who are unrelated just because their parents happened to get married.
I *love* Nine and will be thrilled if he gets to debut. I don't know why he mentioned failing with dramas, though, because he was cast in one that ended up being very popular in the BL community.
Zhou Kayu was asking why the founders like him ... well, it probably helps that you're the male lead in a drama that's airing in parallel to this show lol. (I think he's a deserving 'A' all the same.)
Lelush ... it's dumb that they didn't release him from whatever contract he signed and give his spot to whoever was next in line. I wonder how he ended up on the show in the first place. Fire that producer/casting director.
Finally watched the last episode tonight. Wow! Totally agree with the rave reviews. I was already amazed at the…
I'm glad you liked it! Another thing that's impressive is that Singto was working on 'Friend Zone' around the same time as this series, and his character there is completely different (at least in the later episodes.)
I can't believe we're half way through and we're still getting 5 minutes at the end to try and piece together…
I'm not bothering with the h.s. story and go to the 2015 part every week. If the follow-through is something special then I'll return to the earlier episodes to give the series a proper watch.
For now I've just about given up. Whoever dreamed up this approach to storytelling is an idiot.
I'm on Ep. 15 and I'm very close to dropping this. In fact, I'm surprised I lasted as long as I have. I think…
I bet they're losing a lot of viewers because of the very reasons you give.
All I know is, whatever his issue was, with each little tease every week they're raising the stakes. They need to come through with something worth the wait.
After countless rewatches (since this is one of my favorite BLs of all time), I finally understand the 'Jiu Jitsu' reference in the last scene.
In 'Where Your Eyes Linger' (which takes place in the same universe), Tae Joo and Gook work through their suppressed desires by sparring with Jiu Jitsu.

Chon's smile is a killer - those dimples. This show is so sweet and appealing, and all the conflict is character-driven,…
You say everything so well. I was thinking about how wholesome this episode was. We even got to see Chon apologize to Prab in the most sincere way possible. It's like he learned an important lesson when his brother apologized to him about that earlier misunderstanding.
When you say that Prab has so much love and is almost desperate to give it ... so true! So far he has proven to be something of an angelic character. I can't think of any flaws. His approach to Chon is unfailingly supportive and caring, even when Chon treats him badly. (And he is quick to forgive.) Ordinarily such a 'perfect' character would elicit a few eye rolls, but Folk is so damn cute that the idea of perfection fits him perfectly, so to speak. ^_^
That bit about the AC breaking again, and the brothers looking at each other with a grin as they recognized the opportunity .. that was hilarious.
If Chon is age 17, though, I don't think they'll kiss, at least not within sight of the camera. Yet we did get the classic 'Asian drama eye lock' that clearly predicts their couplehood. So who knows.
I have to comment on that swim team lol. They can't dive properly and their swimming form is terrible.
Sad.Watching this series stresses me out, not because of the plot which now has zero mystery or interest, but…
For me this is always the problem when a "Season Two" follows an outstanding Season One. It's so rare that a sequel is up to the standard of the original.
For this series, the behavior exhibited by the characters here retroactively denigrates what they had in Season One.
Agreed! I just think of all the dreck that has been released lately -- those quickie series that are just cashing in on BL -- and I'm grateful for what this series brings.

Be sure to buy your asbestos jumpsuit before the first episode! ;)

You have to love a story about two lonely people who find hope and happiness in one another.
