I just finished episode 11 and don't know if I should keep watching. I don't know the story and haven't seen the…
The series definitely makes the most of its theme of unrequited love, and it's not only the female characters who are experiencing it. Both Mingrui and Ge Bi are going through their own versions of it. (I cringed as much over Ge Bi's behavior as I did for any of the women, but that's a later episode than Episode 11.)
There's also the math genius who has the hots for Zhanyan, and even the relationships of Huai Nan and Mingrui's roommates are stuck in the same rut. They love their girlfriends but their girlfriends are into Huai Nan.
I do agree that the female characters are treated much less flatteringly, being depicted as less in control of themselves due to those feelings.
It's distracting for me that they keep talking about "Coke" and "Coca Cola" all the time but are always drinking Pepsi.
I realize that maybe that's because "Coke" has become a generic name for cola drinks (in the same way that people refer to any brand of tissue as "Kleenex"), but if it's a product placement it's being done all wrong haha.
i like slow burn but FL isn't telling ML the simple truth which would make him realize she's the 1 all along and…
Right.
Wasn't there a moment where Huai Nan said he couldn't remember what he whispered into the ear of the little girl that he's obsessed with finding? Luo Zhi could have simply told him what he said to her, and once he realized she was right he would have known she's that girl.
is it possible that when pil hyun said he had seen seo joon kiss a guy before he was talking about in woo? and…
I'm thinking like you.
This idea also makes dramatic sense. The series keeps referring back to the incident. After all the investigation that's taking place, it would be bad screenwriting for it to turn out to be just an ordinary barroom brawl. For dramatic purposes there needs to be a revelation of some sort.
Those who were complaining about Cha EunWoo acting hope they get their answers now...Especially when Suho-JK started…
Right. Early on he was dismissed as wooden but clearly the character is one that evolves over the course of the series, and Eun Woo has conveyed that beautifully.
When someone finds true love it should be liberating, and that's what we're seeing in Su Ho thanks to Eun Woo.
The producer said they have 80% screen time. Hard to believe.
Yeah that sounds like BS. I was thinking of a rewatch where I'd count how many times Wayu cried but this claim by the producer would be fun to fact check as well.
There’s a review of this show that said they were cheated because Pha’s looks should’ve compensated for…
Plus based on the trailer for 'My Ride' that actor has been cast as one of the love interests for that series. I hope we'll get to see that sometime in 2021.
Can someone tell me did pok and tong kiss in the final ep or not? I’m still confused when the camera panned…
I don't think they kissed on the lips. My guess is that they're saving that big event for Season 2.
I would hope that something that the series treated with such reverence and importance would never take place off-screen. Dumber things have happened, but when Pok finally earns that honor we need to see it happen.
(I think they're already in love but the anger and trust issues are still too significant.)
I'm betting on them being one of the featured couples in Season 2, along with the Wayu-Thanu-Pha triangle.
Also, something tells me that Qi Yang (I think that's his name) will be back later, and that he actually still has feelings for Fang Li.

There's also a UWMA element that really hooks me. The first meeting of Phupha and Tian gave me goosebumps.
