Way way too much Wayu in the finale and the whole series, frankly. I can't remember another series where I started out feeling sympathetic toward a character and then by the end couldn't stand it when he got any screen time. When Thanu started to carry him on his back my eyes practically rolled to the back of my head.
Wayu's relationship with Thanu is just weird. To fall in love with someone because he took you to the infirmary when you felt faint in the hot weather? Oh please. Whether it was Pha or Thanu, it's just stupid.
If we're about to get a Season 2 with the Wayu-Thanu-Pha triangle as the centerpiece, they'd better have Pok and Tong along for the ride because otherwise I'm getting off the bus.
LOL Sol Yi is constantly getting upset and running from the classroom and Heon never bats an eye.
Meanwhile, Ji Hwan does the same thing just one time and Heon immediately chases after him. I think Heon also speaks to him more assertively than we've heard from him so far.
I just started watching 'Always Have, Always Will' and can't help but to compare the FL in that series to the one here. Both are 27 years old, but Dawn Chen in 'AHAW' looks so much more age-appropriate while playing a character who's roughly the same age as Sol Yi. She also tones down the daffy excitability that bugs me so much in 'ALSB'.
Another interesting parallel is that the ML is also aloof but at least he shows some interest in the FL early on.
ep 12:Phai and Thanu actually have chemistry, Wayu and Thanu not at all - although to be fair it's hard to tell…
Wayu is the nothing-burger to end all nothing-burgers. To build half of this series around his 'Pha crisis' was a bone-headed decision. They must have assumed that there is so much built-in sympathy for Bas as an actor that they could exploit that. Wrong!
Thanu .... oh, Thanu, you ended up proving that even gorgeous people can be boring af.
If there's a Season 2 it had better be about Pok and Tong.
I'm right there with you. I felt this way about the ML in the other version too. There is a point where enough…
Thank you. The character in the Cdrama clearly has challenges with emotions, whereas Heon simply comes off like a wimp who won't speak up and admit when he's wrong.
And that preview made me a little pissed for the same reason.
His flashback after he fell into the pool makes me think that there was a traumatic event of some sort that wiped part of his memory. So, yes, I guess that means he has amnesia. :)
I mean, how could you sit next to a girl in high school and be coercing her to wait on you hand and foot, and not remember her?
Also .... during high school I bet it wasn't the ML who turned in her ledger/diary ... I think someone else found it and did it out of spite.
My god ... Song Ah's breakdown during the phone conversation with her mom at the end of Episode 2 was one of the most riveting and devastating things I've ever watched. It's upsetting to me just thinking back on it.
My heart was in my throat and I felt this sense of panic over not being able to reach into the screen to comfort her. I also felt terrible for her mom, who we already know has issues of her own and would be so hurt and confused over what she's hearing.
I've loved Won Jin Ah's acting since 'Just Between Lovers'. Her casting in this drama was the whole reason I decided to watch, but I didn't expect to get such a strong validation of that decision so early on.
Does the misunderstanding created by the ex-gf about LZ to SH is solved by ep.10????? I am getting frustrated…
If this takes a path similar to the earlier version, the conflict with the ex-gf will continue for a while ... she's one evil piece of work. In that earlier version, the way her house of cards eventually comes tumbling down is one of my favorite twists, and the moment when the ML gives her the final kiss-off is very satisfying.
The other two haters from her high school will undoubtedly get their own undoing too. I'm eager to see how that happens.
They need to hurry up and get them into college. Heon will have a chance to look like a human instead of a space alien, and Sol Yi will be able to look and behave more like the adult woman that the actress actually is.

They should have made this a bromance. xD

(It's a really cute drama btw.)

2. no ... instead the character is a limp noodle .. hence the term 'softer' lol
3. undoubtedly

Also, they didn't show us what happened between the time Tan told Dr. Bun he had to kill him and the scene of Dr. Bun running away from him.
In the missing scene it wouldn't be surprising if both Tan and Dr. Bun put on bulletproof vests.
