I'm right there with you. I felt this way about the ML in the other version too. There is a point where enough…
Thank you. The character in the Cdrama clearly has challenges with emotions, whereas Heon simply comes off like a wimp who won't speak up and admit when he's wrong.
And that preview made me a little pissed for the same reason.
His flashback after he fell into the pool makes me think that there was a traumatic event of some sort that wiped part of his memory. So, yes, I guess that means he has amnesia. :)
I mean, how could you sit next to a girl in high school and be coercing her to wait on you hand and foot, and not remember her?
Also .... during high school I bet it wasn't the ML who turned in her ledger/diary ... I think someone else found it and did it out of spite.
My god ... Song Ah's breakdown during the phone conversation with her mom at the end of Episode 2 was one of the most riveting and devastating things I've ever watched. It's upsetting to me just thinking back on it.
My heart was in my throat and I felt this sense of panic over not being able to reach into the screen to comfort her. I also felt terrible for her mom, who we already know has issues of her own and would be so hurt and confused over what she's hearing.
I've loved Won Jin Ah's acting since 'Just Between Lovers'. Her casting in this drama was the whole reason I decided to watch, but I didn't expect to get such a strong validation of that decision so early on.
Does the misunderstanding created by the ex-gf about LZ to SH is solved by ep.10????? I am getting frustrated…
If this takes a path similar to the earlier version, the conflict with the ex-gf will continue for a while ... she's one evil piece of work. In that earlier version, the way her house of cards eventually comes tumbling down is one of my favorite twists, and the moment when the ML gives her the final kiss-off is very satisfying.
The other two haters from her high school will undoubtedly get their own undoing too. I'm eager to see how that happens.
They need to hurry up and get them into college. Heon will have a chance to look like a human instead of a space alien, and Sol Yi will be able to look and behave more like the adult woman that the actress actually is.
We're on Ep 12 and I'll say it again... MIJOO, GIRL. BEST FEMALE LEAD. I can't believe I'd comment this after…
It's funny, when I was scouting a new drama to watch, as soon as I saw she was in this one there was no turning back. Her work is just so real and engaging.
It's great to read a review from someone who appreciates the series. You're not alone, it's just that the comment page got so full of ridiculous accusations and self-righteousness that it was no longer fun to participate.
I just REALLY like the idea of monos and probes and they hinted about how different the relationships between…
I saw it as an intended twist at the end for an 'ah-ha' moment where you suddenly realize that there had been a mutual fulfillment all along, and that this dynamic (along with their attraction to each other) would ensure a lasting bond between them. I thought it was quite creative and moving. I agree that it would be interesting to know more but given the short format of the series I'm glad they went with the surprise reveal instead.
It's like the ending of an O. Henry short story, or a mystery where the viewer learns who the killer is only at the very end and a back story is revealed within a couple minutes' time.
The idea of adding a subplot about probes hunting down monos ... well, let's just say I'm really glad they didn't try to squeeze that in. :)
The casting of Ge Bi is interesting, as is the depiction of him here as a relentless flirt. Having seen the other version of the drama I was a bit taken aback when he seemed to be hitting on Luo Zhi.
Why do I get the feeling that this version will omit the older rich guy and end up pairing Bai Li with Ming Rui instead?
And that preview made me a little pissed for the same reason.
2. no ... instead the character is a limp noodle .. hence the term 'softer' lol
3. undoubtedly

Also, they didn't show us what happened between the time Tan told Dr. Bun he had to kill him and the scene of Dr. Bun running away from him.
In the missing scene it wouldn't be surprising if both Tan and Dr. Bun put on bulletproof vests.

After all, Shu Yi is nothing if not competitive, and indeed we saw how much of a reaction it got out of him. :)
