"I'm not romantic person""I want the last one will be special one"This two line of Duen make me like him more…
Yes! This made me feel better about Duen too. He has his phobias and hangups, but he's really trying, and Bohn is special to him. The character has evolved believably.
I just hope that Bohn will get at least one kiss from him before the series ends. :)
I don't know what it is with this show, but i was laughing so much this last episode. I haven't seen such a genuinely…
I'm glad it wasn't only me! I laughed so much.
After Ting Ting said she would cut out her ovaries and the guy next to her said, "I'm not stopping you, but you have to wait for the bus to stop first." OMG I died. And I got the impression that the laughter from the rest of the cast was genuine, not acting. They all look like they get along and are having a lot of fun.
Have you watched Dark Blue Kiss yet? While that show isn't perfect either (though it seems no one is able to make…
Kiss Me Again really was awful except for PeteKao. In fact I think the PeteKao side couple in that show is one of the best "enemies to lovers" storylines that I've ever seen, in a BL or elsewhere.
The rest of the couples were terrible, and it's sad to say that some great talent was wasted by being cast for those roles.
Just finished ep 13, sad it's over, already missing them. I love all the charactors, its definitely a great cast.…
I'm actually glad that you felt comfortable posting this opinion. I realize that the many negative comments might make big supporters of the show feel unwelcome. I know if it was a series that I personally loved and everybody else seemed to hate it, I'd feel a little let down by my fellow BL fans.
Were they PG-trolling us ? Kiss => PG13 troll => put a camera angle (respect the kids)...Hug => PG13 troll =>…
After the scene on the abandoned bus and the two boys looking up at the stars afterward, where they didn't hold hands or even put an arm around each other, I started with my own "trolling us" theory. I realized how many scenes *looked* like they'd culminate in a hug or a kiss, or a hand being held, but then didn't. (Cue Bright to do another head pat....)
It seemed so intentional. There was almost a meanness to it.
Series completed. Thank you to the actors, the director and the production crew for the hard work that you have…
You're right ... and given the crew that perpetrated Season 1, you can be sure they'd reach for the box of old tropes when cobbling together a Season 2.
- Forced separation for some amount of time ... - Love triangle - Misunderstandings re: love triangle - One of the guys (probably Tine) thinking he's holding the other one back, and deciding that he should give him his freedom
It's exhausting just thinking about how aggravating that series would be as well haha.
So, there's that fast-forward in time toward the end and we've arrived several months later. The music club is recruiting new members and tells the recruits all about Tine and Sarawat. The music club president gets the two of them to come forward, and Sarawat says he wants to teach Tine the guitar in front of the group.
Can somebody tell me, what the living hell was up with that "teasing" from Sarawat? Did the writers think that would be an endearing final image? For me it went on too long and became very awkward.
Someone said last week “be prepared for ep 13 to be a mess & for it to end with a strong hug” they gave them…
Haha I think that was me.
I won't miss the series at all, and I don 't care if there will be a Season 2. I'm curious what a Season 2 would even be about. They can't do a jealousy storyline like in 'Dark Blue Kiss' because they played that card already in Season 1.
On the other hand we're not talking about the most original writers in the world. Maybe Pam will probably show up claiming to be pregnant by Sarawat.
LOL, Why is everyone complaining about lack of skin ship or kisses AND Fan service???Do they really need to do…
I don't care about fan service, but the lack of physical affection between the leads is unrealistic. I didn't need it to keep me "satisfied" or to hold my attention. I was merely observing that the m/m relationship depicted here is handled so cautiously by the director and actors that it's never convincing.
This was the series I had looked forward to the most for 2020. I sent the trailers to friends to try to get them to watch and couldn't wait for it to air. I rewatched the first few episodes several times.
Now I'm disappointed. It really *could* have been one of the greatest BL series ever. But it lost its nerve and went for bromance instead. Clearly there's a fan base for that -- you are an example. I had different expectations, I guess.
Since you asked, I'll answer: they don't get together and yes it is an open ending that would make it easy to…
LOL no I was happy to reply. I always worry about spoiling things even when it’s requested. I appreciate getting spoilers too. Sometimes they determine whether I will want to watch a drama or not. I don’t like sad endings.
Of these dramas I've seen only Love O2O. It's often commented that the male lead's saintly ability to know all things, make only correct decisions, and always win gets to be a little much. In potentially dramatic situations that involve him there's no suspense because you know he will always prevail. And it's a bit extra how all of the other characters defer to him so slavishly. (If I remember right, the female lead addresses him as "Lord"? This, just as I was getting used to so many female leads addressing their boyfriends as "Senior" haha.)
Still, I think many of the dramatic setups are rewarding, like the dinner event where the online competitors meet in person for the first time. By this point we know that they're a nasty bunch. We as viewers are aware of what surprises are in store and it's fun to watch them unfold. In this series the baddies all get what's coming to them.
Since I'm into BL, I also loved the BL side couple. In typical Mainland fashion their relationship is only hinted at, but to make up for it there is wall-to-wall innuendo that is quite hilarious as all of the other characters joke about what's happening while the guys themselves seem oblivious.
Of the rest of the series in your article I think Gank Your Heart sounds the most interesting. Given some of the positive comments about it here as well, I am going to add it to my "Plan to Watch" list.
I know a lot of people complainted about how minimum skinship and romantic secene between BohnDuen, they just…
I like your insights. You make a great point about Deun not realizing that Frong was flirting with him, and that's because Deun just hasn't learned how those things work yet.
It will be hard for Bohn to get him to open up, but just like with Ram and King, when he finally does Bohn will be rewarded with a very loyal boyfriend.
I just hope that Bohn will get at least one kiss from him before the series ends. :)

If you feel that 2gether was more of a bromance than a BL, please consider raising the relevancy of the tag by voting. :)
Cheers.
