I saw most of Thank God It's Friday and I think you're right, the actors were all (or nearly all) underage. (Side comment: that was a strange series for me.)

You reminded me of the end of Season 2 of Love Sick, where the camera starts to zoom in on Phun and Non as they go in for a kiss, and Non puts his hand over the camera at the last second. At the time I think Captain might have been underage.

Sarawat did kiss Tine earlier, during the games at the music club's 'welcome' event. It was a damn nice kiss -- soft and tender. I'd love to see another one like that before the series ends, this time with Tine reciprocating.

So if they're 'boyfriends' now and have even moved in together, why don't they kiss?

They have just three episodes to get this one out of the 'bromance' category. I hope they'll do that.

Clothes not rumpled and not a hair out of place the next morning, with the guys sleeping side by side with no cuddle or any other touching?

I'm gonna say no sex, and not only that, but I think it was the director's intention to make it clear it didn't happen.

I suspect the main reason for the series' indifference to physical affection (let alone intimacy) is because it is being broadcast on GMMTV.

GMMTV has a reputation for putting the brakes on sexual scenes in BL.

I've also wondered if either Bright or Win (or both of them) have wanted the depictions of guy-on-guy sex to be limited. In an interview Bright said when he first got the role he didn't realize it involved two guys in a relationship. He quickly figured it out, and in his initial meeting to get introduced to Win, both he and Win admitted that Bright would only shake his hand and glare at him, and then walk away.

I won't be surprised if the series ends with none of the episodes having shown the two of them in a passionate kiss.

The tear, and also the break in Zon's voice as he said he would give himself to Saifah only ... just wow.

I read somewhere that the sex scenes between Fighter and Tutor were not in the book and that Zee and Saint asked the director to let them improvise.

Ironically, I think there's some homophobia at play when people complain about too much physical expression of love in BL. It's like they want to have the fantasy but none of the "messy reality" of what it means to be in a relationship with someone of the same sex.

Yes, the official Twitter account for the series made a big point of saying there will be a Saifah-Zon special once Covid-19 no longer prevents the crew from working.

One of the most insightful reviews I've read on here. Your analysis of Zee's acting and Fighter's character is fantastic. This was Zee's moment most of all, and I can't wait to see what his next role is like.

I think I liked the Saifah-Zon pairing more than you did, but I also think I was more willing to fill in the story gaps on my own, which is cheating in a way. Like you I'm disappointed that we didn't get to see the changes between them happen more on-screen. Watching that transformation is my favorite part of an enemies-to-lovers story.

As for Blue and the team ... their situation only proved how there were too many characters for the story to handle. Toward the end of the series as I watched the opening credits for each episode, I knew some of those people were doomed to never show up again, and it only made it more obvious how overcrowded the cast was.

We're not asking for a lot of sexy scenes. We'd like to see some kisses that look vaguely romantic or even just see them holding hands -- something that denotes there's more there than bromance.

I think the best kiss in the series so far was when Sarawat kissed Tine during the music club's orientation ceremony.

Yeah, it's pathetic. On Twitter people are posting and reposting the shot of the two of them on the couch with Sarawat's arms around Tine, like it's this huge breakthrough in BL history, while over on another series (Why R U) Saifah and Zon are doing what two guys *really* do after their attraction and desire has been building up for weeks --they make out like crazy.

For that couch scene, after years of yearning followed by weeks of suppressed desire, Sarawat would have been fully aroused as he hugged Tine and pressed against him from behind. And Tine would have felt it and responded in kind.

Alas, though, GMMTV would rather have us believe in a fantasy scenario where teenage boys don't get horny.

I'm losing faith that this series will feature any true intimacy between the leads, or even be willing to allude to it happening off-screen. I mean, in Ep10 they fall into bed together fully clothed and are then shown the next morning still fully clothed with not a hair out of place.

I'd felt going into this episode that it was a make-or-break situation. I thought if they get through this ep without even a real kiss between Sarawat and Tine, then it's very possible that we won't see *any* intimacy beyond the little pecks we've seen so far.

I want to blame GMMTV since they're known to be such prudes about BL, but it might also be due to a request by the actors themselves or their management. All I know is that it's disappointing.

Starting this after watching "With You" is a trip ... all those crossover characters! It's like a reunion with friends I'd been missing.

The sense of realism is on point, too. Maybe it has to do with the filming style.

Anyway, I'm really excited to complete this one.

Whenever something gets left out like those results from the final match, I wonder if the footage might have turned out too unsatisfactory to be included, and it was too late or too expensive to refilm.

Because it really does seem like an odd thing not to show, especially if the character had been working toward that goal throughout the series.

His character is so sweet and lovable in Skate Into Love. You just want to hug him.

And those two little clumps of hair that are dyed red ... such a cute detail.

He is so precious as Little Sheep in Skate Into Love. You just want to protect him and give him everything that's good in life.
