Hyuk Effed around and found out so my sympathy is low. Who plays hard to get in this instant gratification world?…
Honestly, he's been my least favorite since the start so I for one enjoyed watching him "find out".
Him fighting back tears did tug at me a bit, though.
I figure the next chapter in that story will be TA guy accidentally stumbling on the truth behind what he saw and then begging Hyuk to forgive him. We should enjoy the reprieve while we can haha.
Not even 5 minutes into ep 7, bro what in the world is my cutie patootie Maru drawing ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ a llama?…
The Maru-Minwoo storyline is my favorite. I love how it resolved without unnecessary drama, even when Maru found out the truth about Minwoo's "girlfriend".
The bullying has been very serious and from the trailer there's other darker things to come.
I think the trailer was released before they decided to tone down the violence. I'm guessing the source of drama will no longer be Kang as a bad boy, but the loan sharks going after Sailom and his brother.
I absolutely hated the thai original series Why R U. So in light of that, is this korean version better or worse?
Depends on who you ask, and on what made the Thai version so unappealing to you.
The two series have very different approaches. Aside from the basic premise of a BL novel coming to life, I think it's hard to recognize that they come from the same source material.
This version is lighter and more innocent. For example, I doubt we'll see a Korean counterpart to Fighter's emotional breakdown for Tutor (imo one of the most unforgettable scenes in BL).
I expected this version to skimp on the intimacy but it has proved me wrong so far, at least when it comes to kissing.
Thought it was unrealistic but wow it’s very interesting and engaging. Sunwoo and yoogyeom’s kiss was 🫰🦋
From the preview last week I expected a "camera angle" kiss, and at first that's what it looked like, but it also seemed that Yookyeom did that within the actual story, to appease the people at the table while not actually kissing Sunwoo.
Then there was Phase 2, so to speak. You could have knocked me over with a feather. That was hot.
Yookyeom/Sunwoo's story has a poignancy that makes my heart flutter. Sunwoo has low self-esteem while Yookyeom's flaws were put on full display in Episode 4. He was complaining to himself that he has no yearnings or passions, but it seems the reason for that might be that he's been denying them. He certainly doesn't seem to have much yearning or passion for his so-called girlfriend. He keeps ditching her for Sunwoo.
This was cute and sincere. Great chemistry for the main couple too.
This would have to be Mame's most benign series ever, in a good way. And everybody laughs about the McDonalds sponsorship, but you could say that's a breakthrough in itself. Oishi better watch out!
Those lambasting this show for the dubbing are clearly not familiar with the concept. It makes an attempt to revamp…
Well, in fairness, that sounds like a niche genre that most BL fans wouldn't be familiar with. It's certainly beyond ME.
It's like going to a k-pop concert and only to have a country music perform instead. I don't think you can blame people for being confused and disappointed.
Even the basic premise is gross: a twink whose ex abused him hooks up with an insecure control freak who also bullies him. There was nothing in their relationship worth celebrating.
To me Dino always looked like he needed to take a shower and brush his teeth, so the NC scenes were excruciating. I ended up skipping past every one.

I'm pretty sure he was drawing a camel.
"Even his name is cute"... damn right!
I've enjoyed it but it has required accepting that Little Jun has something that drives the men wild.
