I couldn't care less about SH and JS because their cheerleaders on here have been so nasty toward SW. Watching SH and JS together made it feel like the evil team won.
These are real people, not characters in a drama. So many of you lack compassion and empathy. I'm glad that the only place I'll encounter you is here.
What I've discovered is that the instrumental music used in series of all kinds is often drawn from the royalty-free music that you can find on YouTube. There's a handful of tracks that I now hear over and over.

This is great to see. I think it's a photo shoot, though, and not a scene from the series.
Still, they wouldn't be posing them like this for a bromance....
Yu Bi has bought the toy gun for Doudou and the family is together to eat dinner. Uncle Su calls to Su Yu to come out and join them, and as Su Yu comes to the table and sits you can see Yu Bi collect himself nervously, stealing a glance at his beloved. 🥰
The subtlety is *chef's kiss*.
Then, @13:38, Yu Bi puts some food into Su Yu's bowl. (Not subtle ... lol ... because we all know what *that* means.) 😁
1. Wu Bi's dad is actually a decent man -- certainly much better than the dad in "Addicted". I can't blame him for having a temper, because Wu Bi also has a temper and it doesn't define his whole personality. A more decent dad makes me think we might be in store for a HEA that includes both families being on good terms, albeit only after several tumultuous events.
2. In Episode 7 when Wu Bi went to Su Yu's house right after the big revelation, pounding on the door to be let in, I wonder what would have happened if Su Yu *had* let him in. The romantic in me wishes I could watch an alternative timeline to find out. 😏
3. It bothers me a little that Wu Bi didn't make his friends apologize about the gossipy forum post until *after* he'd talked to Su Yu's dad, learning that Su Yu's dad hadn't yet been told by Su Yu that his ex-wife had married Wu Bi's dad. Had Wu Bi been willing to let the post stay up because he thought Su Yu had already spilled those beans?
There are a lot of things going wrong here. The writing and production being majority subpar is a huge one, but…
JaFirst have been steadily disappointing me.
In "Close Friend" they were brilliant. It was the best story in the anthology.
They were also great in TT2. The kidnapping portion was unfortunate but First's depiction of an obsessed sex addict was superb. Also, when Fiat went to Leo and cuddled with him on the couch it looked 100% real. Their chemistry was very good.
Things started to go wrong in "Don't Say No". The biggest problem -- and an insurmountable one for me -- was that they rewrote Fiat's history to make it seem like his promiscuity was due to other people blackmailing him instead his own need to use sex for personal validation. I'd looked forward to the series so much, thinking it would explore the issues of a person with that kind of behavior, but instead they tried to deny that TT2 ever happened. Furthermore, their NC scenes were awkward.
"Remember Me" was an atrocity on many levels. Pure corn. They were both so awkward here, and had zero chemistry. The many implausibilities of their storyline only made it worse. They weren't entirely at fault because this was one of the worst BLs of 2022. I ended up watching mainly for its endless supply of unintentional howlers.
I gave Ep01 of this series a try, but once Ja was standing in front of a mirror acting like a simpleton I had to turn it off. I'm going to keep checking back here to take the pulse before continuing any farther.
I'm wondering if JaFirst will have an NC scene in this series. I tend to doubt it, since they seem to avoid them. (When we saw them get intimate in "Don't Say No" it was awkward at best, and I remember them barely even kissing in "Remember Me". They didn't get intimate in TT2 either, since for most of that series their characters were in the friend zone.)
Now that Ja is quitting BL, it will be interesting to see if First continues with the genre and, if so, how he'll be with his new partner. Maybe replacing Ja will help First to become the actor he's capable of being.
I hate to be one of those people who immediately asks for Season Two, but the ensemble format and the loose ends from Season One make this series a perfect candidate for another go-round.
Extra kudos for Wayu and Wayha. They have one of the healthiest, sweetest, and sexiest relationships in all of BL.
I think we’re unlikely to see a Leon-Pob series because it’s my understanding that James won’t be doing any more BL roles, at least not as part of a m/m couple.
