Very impressed with how this show combines campy fun with deep and personal discussion. Some of these guys are so brave to reveal such intimate details about their lives.
They're really trying with the Ae side story but it's just not interesting.
I've been trying to think of a BL series that had a compelling standalone m/f side couple and so far I can't think of any. It's interesting how a BL side couple can often overshadow a m/f main couple but not the other way around. Maybe because BL is such a niche genre, adding a m/f couple where their story doesn't hinge off of the m/m stories (like in "House of Stars") seems misguided.
Took some effort to get through that. The scenes go on too long and there's no snap to the acting. Exhibit A is that guy dancing at the bar while he talks to Dino ... wtf? (Sorry ... the slow zoom to his crotch at the end didn't help.)
Series name checks out, though: "Dino" looks like he's pushing 30. Must be in his eighth year of uni.
Meanwhile, Kong seems to have the same acting coach as Bas for "Gen Y", because so far Rak is another mopey character with the self-respect of a doormat. He drains the energy out of every scene he's in, which is a problem because he's in almost every one. The big test will be when he finally catches his cheating boyfriend in the act. If all he does is jut out his lower lip and apologize for being upset, we're in for a 10-episode ordeal.
Gives off major "Fahlanruk" vibes. I hope things improve.
I threw together a visual reference card that you're welcome to download. It's crude but does the job. :)https://www.dropbox.com/s/48phiyoqgr56y10/%27His_Man%27_Cast.jpg?dl=0
This is such a fully realized story. One of the best BLs from GMMTV ever, because it is really exploring the main characters in depth *before* they're a couple, so we can watch how they grow into being perfect for each other.
Sorry I m a little bit weird,I know Not is not a good person ...but I want to ship he with Max....anyone know…
I think they're trying to show that Not is nicer than he seems. Like a lot of insecure people, he defends himself by striking first before the other person can strike at him.
Which is my way of saying I've also considered him as a good pairing with Max. Not sure why, but that's what I've been thinking too.
1. Pat and Jen talking smack about Jeng and Jaab. Including Pat acting like Jeng had somehow mistreated him. That conversation was so annoying to watch.
2. Ae having her baby for 10 minutes. I'm not a "baby" person so don't waste my time with that shizz!
Miss Mela is perfect for hosting this, too.

And what's the deal with Nurse Lips McGee. Was that a lipstick product placement? 😂😂😂
"Forgive him."
WTF.
Gawin's acting is slaying, too.

And Jeng's dad would never allow Pat to run that department. Ohhh my god.
I'll watch the first couple of episodes but if it's going to be all about Minato's indecisiveness and panic attacks again then who needs it.
