Can I get some spoilers? Does Justine get a guy too? Cause the first two leads usualy 99% of the time end up together…
It doesn't look like Justin gets a guy of his own. We're one episode away from the finale and there hasn't been any other character introduced in the series who could be his consolation prize. I suppose it's possible that someone brand new will show up in the last episode.
If they kill off Nikko maybe they can make Justin one of the leads in a sequel.
I really enjoyed this episode. Probably my favorite. I loved the progress in the story and all the cute moments.…
It's a realistically paced story that includes the work-related relationship in addition to the romantic one. I really like how you summarize the situation.
Most series would make Put into a villain and just string together "moments" for Pat and Jeng. I'm enjoying how it's confounding expectations and giving us something wonderfully unpredictable.
Even Oxin Films seems to realize that Fifth and Zeke are the only attraction here. I don't have vast experience with their productions but I wouldn't be surprised if those two have more chemistry than any other Oxin Films pair.
I can't tell you what's going on with the main couple because I skip their scenes entirely.
At least the Chukchuk storyline is finished. Now it seems they're setting up Fifth for disappointment when Zeke will show up late for Fifth's event (talent show?) after working at Kim's fashion show. (Shades of "My Only 12%")
This is pretty much critic-proof now. People who like tearjerkers are going to love the angst and emotion, unearned as it may be, whereas the flaws that make people like me roll our eyes through almost every episode are there to stay.
One thing I did like in the latest episode is that Nikko finally had a talk with Justin, and Justin seemed to finally give up his pursuit of him. Last week I thought that Justin might try to sabotage Nikko and Eli's date for the Prom. That idea was posed to him today and he rejected it. I hope he won't change his mind after what he witnessed in that very last scene between Eli and Nikko.
Has been the best one so far? probably not. A lot of people who call themselves fans had sky high expectations…
Who's screaming with disappointment or pulling their hair out? You seem to be saying that if you're a true fan then you shouldn't question the quality of the story or the acting. Given the sky-high reaction to the original series, would it be wrong to expect a lot from this?
You can love someone or something and still be disappointed in it once in a while.
yea I don't see at all Justin being interested in Eli as people said was being hinted at before.. I think Justin…
I'd rather have had that kind of human drama than the wallow in sentimentality that we got.
It reminds me of the first season of Gameboys, where they killed off the dad of one of the leads then "forgot" about it once it had served its purpose.
This is the only Our Skyy that I was interested to see. When I heard that the guys were switching roles, I thought we'd get Gun as president of the Music Club aggressively courting Tin, the Student Council President.
What we got instead seems like a warmed-over version of the original as staged by a local theater company. The performances seem half-hearted, too.
I give them credit for not resorting to the usual "misunderstanding/breakup" narrative, though.
ZNN fans are extremely sensitive because people on social media accuse them a lot of not actually dating but pretending…
Yeah. I've been wondering what offended people about that scene so much.
Was it....
- Saying that they're unavailable because they're in such high demand. - Saying they're too expensive, i.e. that they get paid a lot to make appearances so what happens for the cameras is not spontaneous. - Implying that they're not really dating and are appearing together to advance their careers and/or meet contractual obligations. - Implying that they're two straight men making money off of the gay community.
(What's funny is that all of the above might be true!)
They might both go home at night and bang their respective girlfriends, or girls they've picked up at fan meets. I think a lot of BL fans can't handle that.
Justin went completely to the dark side this episode. He's getting such an evil edit that I think what will happen at Prom is he'll sabotage Nikko and Eli somehow, making sure they don't meet up. And then maybe Nikko will die right after that. It's a cheap tactic by the writers but why should they stop now? Our boy Justin has been doomed from the start as the demonic counterpart to Nikko's utter perfection as a human being. It has to be leading somewhere.
Eli's conversation with his mother was pure cringe, but his miraculous conversion might be what it takes to get the Church to recognize Nikko as a saint. You might think Eli took night courses to get his PhD in Psychology, yet it seems all it took was time in Nikko's presence. (It was nice of Eli to thank him for that.)
When St. Nikko dies in a future episode I expect we'll watch him ascend into heaven with a host of angels, and the Pope will preside at the funeral.
I didn't like it. Both Ji woos and kangs behaviour was very unlikable . While kang acted desperate and like a…
It ruined Season One for me, too. And S1 was my go-to comfort series for months after it aired. I haven't gone near it since enduring this ... thing.
There are always those people who beg for a Season Two of any series that strikes gold, but Season Twos are almost never a good idea because the storylines that get made are about misunderstandings and breakups.
This sequel went one step further and turned a beloved character into an inscrutable monster. Even more than its breakup storyline, this is what has made it impossible for me to enjoy Season One anymore.

You're right about Thoop. I was hoping that Gun and Cher would "adopt" him and become a family, but what happened to that court case?
After all the fuss over Time (Drake) and his broken friendship with Gun, I expected more to come of that too.
I did enjoy the series though! These are minor complaints compared to the mess that we find in other shows.
