That is only the publicity poster that features all the guys together with the pink convertible. If you watch…
Thank you for the link. I don't think I saw that trailer before. Part of me thought the gay couple would get a pass since they hesitated to actually kill anyone - it was always the psycho and her boyfriend.
I won't mind if Gus beats the crap out of her. If she shoots "Sis" then it might prompt him to do that.
Em and Name carry the day again ... Some major story developments that I thought were handled very well. During that scene in the street I was wondering if Em was about to confess!
Champ's storyline does nothing for me. I can feel it straining to evoke the tears, but it's such a cliche at every turn that all it does is make me roll my eyes. What a waste of Title's talent.
That doctor ... what an insensitive jerk! He should seek another field of work.
Golf and Gun were good this week. (I'm pretty sure that Ja and First are the only ones not wearing wigs. Maybe it was in their contract. First looks good with those honey highlights.) Golf's dad sets off the gaydar, which is a nice touch.
Nan ... bottom of the barrel. I literally chuckle whenever they switch to his story and that horrendous fright wig pops up on screen again. His relationship with Chompu was never developed so I don't feel any stake in them reconnecting. As it is, Nan's obsession over finding her could be as easily driven by guilt as it is by affection.
The music. Arggh, the music. The same instrumental cue plays over the happy scenes as it does the sad ones, but if the acapella singing starts, watch out - that's when they're going all in on the pathos.
I lost it when they compared Sis wanting to kill her husband because of cheating to Golf almost killing Art, "but…
Their attempt at making those things morally equivalent is awkward and dumb. Instead of Golf being batshit crazy they should have had him hurt Art accidentally, then have his "secret" be that he almost left Art there to die alone.
Finally episode 8 with subtitles is out and it was great. Really happy with the Tatch/ lom love making scene.…
A sublime episode. I kept bracing for some kind of issue to come up, or for Lom to retreat from his feelings, but everything went great. Tarntatch's patient pursuit has changed him.
Pha needs to recognize that Tarntatch is good for Lom.
So, it seems to me that P'Sho, while I love him & everything, needs some friends! My man does nothing but spend…
Green is definitely the endgame. Personally I think he's moving in way too soon, to the point that he can be seen as exploiting Maitoh's emotional state. (Well, he is by me, anyway.) Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.
Shogun can be forgiven for being confused about his feelings for Maitoh, but as I predicted after last week's episode he is now doomed to watch regretfully from afar. What a great storyline it would have been if Maitoh had turned out to be the catalyst for him awakening to what he really wants in life, helping him to adjust and drop all the defenses he's put up to shield himself. (I think Shogun is a loner in order to avoid some hard truths.)
Alas, instead the series has taken a path that even I could have written ... and I suck as a writer.
But, speaking of foolishness, it would be foolish for me to expect this series to be anything more than a lightweight romp. It flirted with an important and meaningful storyline but I think it is more of a priority for the production company to market the Gun-Save ship.
That was sexy. It reminded me of the hot interactions of two nuns in a seminary. I'm really struggling with this…
In today's episode we were treated to the endearing moment of Gap removing his friend's arm from around his shoulder, telling him it would hurt their fan base.
yes somehow till today I expected him to say brother thing but after today episode I thought that he might actually…
Maybe the way it will end is Maitoh matched with Green, and Shogun watching them sadly from afar as he realizes he let his chance go by.
Green has done nothing to stand out as a character. They've only had him snooping around after Maitoh and feeling sorry for himself -- a personality 100% defined by his feelings for his crush. Not exactly boyfriend material, but god bless this series they'll do their darnedest to sell it.
The mistake they made was making the Shogun-Maitoh pairing so compelling. Now they've ripped it away from us, with four episodes still to go, and the other two couples (including the BL one) don't have enough charisma to carry the series to the end.
This ship has become so corporate packaged that it no longer appeals to me. And I say this as a fan who was brought to BL by their work in "Kiss Me Again". (That storyline remains the best realization of the enemies-to-lovers trope I've ever seen.)
Nowadays Tay & New come off to me as a couple of slick hucksters. I'll check out the first couple of episodes but my expectations are low, low, low.
I'm guessing Name's new friend on MSN is his mom. She's plotting with Em to get Name to call him and talk on the phone. There's going to be hell to pay when Name finally finds out he's been duped.
The music ... god, it's relentless and (if you don't mind the pun) tone deaf. The cheerful riff playing under the scene where Champ is riding back to school on the bus after learning about his grandfather -- completely wrong. Then when it's time to make us feel sad, here comes the vocal track and of course the geniuses in charge of this series play it too loud.
LOL at Lucky the dog. He's always staring off-set at his trainer, so when Champ comes into the house for the first time in weeks he just sits there with a blank stare and never turns around.

I do expect her to be dead since it seems the two gay couples end up traveling north together.
Alas, I'm guessing that "Sis" will be a casualty.
I was also sure they were eating the dog haha.

I swear Bosston broke character and laughed for real when Sammy did that hilarious reaction to Pruek asking Manow to date.
This production is bonkers.
