Tarn and Lom's relationship is one of the healthiest I've seen in any series, let alone BL, and the character development in Lom has been remarkable, too. He was neurotic and insecure at the start of the series and now is so composed and self-assured. (Which can happen if you're in a loving relationship that helps you to grow.)
I like how they're depicted as a couple in love who can't keep their hands off each other, Tarn especially. He's so smitten.
It's funny to contrast those two with the more established characters, who constantly bicker due to one misunderstanding after another.
At least when u choose to make a three couples and a single person until now , give them same time in nomber of…
As the series has continued I've gotten the impression that it's mainly intended as a starring vehicle for Ja, First, and Mean, with the rest of the characters more in supporting roles. Or maybe "second lead" roles.
Champ has that stick shoved farther up his ass than I thought. It can only mean that the perpetrators of this hokum have a surprise in store, probably that his mom or dad will become seriously ill and he will finally come to his senses.
I expected more of a reaction when the gang learned that Name has finally started to talk. Champ hears his voice for the first time after knowing him for 15 years, and his response is to make a joke about karaoke? Why did the series include such a melodramatic character trait and not even try to capitalize on it after ten friggin episodes?
They have a similar disinterest in dealing with what it would mean for a womanizing guy like Nan to be dating someone in a wheelchair. After all the buildup, Nan's reunion with Chompu was quite lackluster, emphasizing how asexual their relationship is. (Have they even kissed on screen?) She's more like his sister than his girlfriend.
And, speaking of asexual: "Hi, Champ!" 🙋♂️
Somebody in the main cast is probably going to die by the end. My money is on Em.
I'm glad Murder Girl got offed, but it was too quick.
Eyepatch Guy went to the dark side and killed an innocent person, so he needs to die by the end too. Every time I see him I think his eyepatch looks too new, like he just bought it at Party City for Halloween.
I remember last year when GMMTV released their set of trailers for 2022, this series got the worst reaction of any of them. People piled on with the hate.
"Looks like a ripoff of Love Sick!" "Not another series set in a high school!"
That is only the publicity poster that features all the guys together with the pink convertible. If you watch…
Thank you for the link. I don't think I saw that trailer before. Part of me thought the gay couple would get a pass since they hesitated to actually kill anyone - it was always the psycho and her boyfriend.
I won't mind if Gus beats the crap out of her. If she shoots "Sis" then it might prompt him to do that.
Em and Name carry the day again ... Some major story developments that I thought were handled very well. During that scene in the street I was wondering if Em was about to confess!
Champ's storyline does nothing for me. I can feel it straining to evoke the tears, but it's such a cliche at every turn that all it does is make me roll my eyes. What a waste of Title's talent.
That doctor ... what an insensitive jerk! He should seek another field of work.
Golf and Gun were good this week. (I'm pretty sure that Ja and First are the only ones not wearing wigs. Maybe it was in their contract. First looks good with those honey highlights.) Golf's dad sets off the gaydar, which is a nice touch.
Nan ... bottom of the barrel. I literally chuckle whenever they switch to his story and that horrendous fright wig pops up on screen again. His relationship with Chompu was never developed so I don't feel any stake in them reconnecting. As it is, Nan's obsession over finding her could be as easily driven by guilt as it is by affection.
The music. Arggh, the music. The same instrumental cue plays over the happy scenes as it does the sad ones, but if the acapella singing starts, watch out - that's when they're going all in on the pathos.
I lost it when they compared Sis wanting to kill her husband because of cheating to Golf almost killing Art, "but…
Their attempt at making those things morally equivalent is awkward and dumb. Instead of Golf being batshit crazy they should have had him hurt Art accidentally, then have his "secret" be that he almost left Art there to die alone.
Finally episode 8 with subtitles is out and it was great. Really happy with the Tatch/ lom love making scene.…
A sublime episode. I kept bracing for some kind of issue to come up, or for Lom to retreat from his feelings, but everything went great. Tarntatch's patient pursuit has changed him.
Pha needs to recognize that Tarntatch is good for Lom.

What a difference a year makes. 😄😄😄😄😄😄

I do expect her to be dead since it seems the two gay couples end up traveling north together.
Alas, I'm guessing that "Sis" will be a casualty.
I was also sure they were eating the dog haha.
