That very last scene was such BS though, like I figured nothing would come of their relationship because Yeonwoo didn't feel the same way, but that bait and switch dream sequence still felt like a slap in the face, especially after all that buildup. ..
Screw Laura's, they all should have quit and worked in Do Gun's beachside restaurant. 😆
But anyway, I think I was spoiled by the chemistry between Euisoo and Gichan in Where Your Eyes Linger, because even though the actors both did well in this too, I didn't feel the same level of spark between them. I also felt the ending was a bit rushed and didn't feel very fulfilling. Also, enough with these micro episodes, just release it as a film to begin with if it's going to be this length. It still wasn't bad though for what it was. Not the best recent Korean BL but not the worst either.
I don't think it's bad like people here are saying, but I also don't know anyone who's talking about it. It's just not really anything new or exciting.
Nobody is asking for sex scenes. I could just as well say, "Why don't you do yourself a favor and go watch children's…
You keep implying that the negative comments and reviews are due to people wanting more sex and stereotypes even though they've clearly stated that their main issues are with the script, slow pace, stiff acting, lack of coherent plot, etc. I get that you like the show, but it also seems like you're not really acknowledging any of the criticisms.
Euisoo aside, Jang Doyoon is in this as one of the staff, and he was a predebut member of the kpop boygroup Seventeen/SVT all the way back in like 2013/2014. I don't think they parted on very good terms, but it's still nice to see him again. He looks good imo. Look up "Seventeen TV Doyoon" if you want to see him with the group.
I want to like this show, but episode 2 took all the issues I had with the 1st and made them worse. The camerawork is good, the actors are cute and the music isn't bad, but the whole thing moves at a snail's pace and the director seems to think long awkward periods of wordless staring is character development. Ep 2 kept those problems but added groan-inducing product placement and several seemingly pointless scenes that felt they only existed to pad the runtime.
Does episode 3 continue these issues? I'm wondering if I should keep watching or not.
I'm so proud of both Daon and Shinwoo for overcoming their insecurities! Why can't Taekyung just have them both? 😭 Well, whatever happens now, happens. I volunteer to take whichever one doesn't make it, though...😁
I'd take Sehyun over Yoohan any day, but I'm also in love with Hyuk and have been for years, so...🤷♂️
