It does not look like Nan Xing had therapy for that fire phobia. We have no info about whatever treatment she could have had for PTSD. But she was able to hold a lit candle for her stepmom's birthday, so perhaps she only got triggered by high flames that emit burning sounds. A gas stove is not silent, so I suppose she would avoid it. But maybe not candles for special occasions and fireworks in the sky. I am not sure we saw her terrorized by thunder and lightning? Like some people I know who are strongly allergic (toxic shock) to some seafood like oysters, but can eat with no problem fish, shrimp, lobster and even mussels and St Jacques. Allergies and phobias can be weirdly peculiar.
And now we need to wait until Friday for new installments. Still 14 episodes to go, 6 total for Friday-Saturday-Sunday. I don't like to watch previews thatmuch, so I'll keep away until then. π

I am lucky I did not directly witness people on fire through accidents, kitchen gas leaks explosions, forest fire, or gasoline suicide. The answer to such a phobia can be : use electric burners and microwave, no garden bbq and preferably no wood burning in the chimney. It is possible to avoid open flames in kitchen to cook, or for heating.. And as for money, she says she is not rich but she inherited property and got loving support from the stepmom. So she is not destitute and can afford take-out (very cheap and common in China), or change from gas to electricity for appliances.

Totally agree. Mr Bad is a breath of fresh air when this little forest had me gasping for air... I am still watching AROLF because am committed to stay "completionist", but have no expectation since SFL and boss are starting to make out. So boring. Therefore, strayed to the big bad wolf who always is so funny in cartoons : the title drew me, and I was happy to discover Chen ZheYuan : I will look up more from him, because he's won me over in the first 2 episodes already and now I'm eagerly awaiting #9-10 to keep being entertained. The trampoline bit was fun; the sharing ice cream was a bit expected, I'm waiting to see how much they smeared on each other's noses now and how they got rid of it (licking?) I ran to get one from the fridge for myself, but did not dare wake up hubby to share it that way ? Nice October 1st treats.... ?

Same as most here, to me, the title was clickbait, the face of FL and the abs of ML were very enticing : just a nice distraction to go with mooncakes. New faces, actors, actresses, for me to discover, and not too long , timewise, to consume episodes . They could even be longer, I wouldn't mind: maybe they'll be collected into a big fat one later, as Youku/YT often seems to be doing for short episodes dramas?
