There really ARE lots of fun and funny gay films and series around, we just have to look for them. I just watched…
Hey, Velvet. Thanks for asking. Truth is, I have no idea which shorts I watched earlier the day I first watched this one. BUT I did re-watch a different short last night that is a delight, whether you are looking for an antidote to this one or not: "A First Love Story." It is sweet/cute/funny/adorable/sincere/true with great acting and solid chemistry between the MCs. Google it to find it. If you have trouble message me and I'll try to find where I watched it. Oh, "Just Friends?" is another great short just as good as AFLS, and both have uplifting, hopeful endings.
A second watch is a must for any good film, be it short or feature. This touched me much more deeply than the first time, and I picked up on a lot more nuances. Sad. Bullies suck.
Watched for the second time, cried for the second time. They are utterly beautiful together. Sweet. Adorable. Love the kind of straight-boy joshing back and forth, giving each other a hard time sort of vibe, even as they were confessing to each other. Sigh. The one who went to the army is sexy/charismatic in that rare way that has very little to do with physical looks. He is cute, of course, but he's not idol cute, and yet, and yet...we would all do him in a heartbeat, am I right? :D
You should really watch like in the movies if you haven't yet
And you're a troll's troll, who accuses anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion of being a troll. What a moron. NO ONE watches a movie or series ALL THE WAY THROUGH if they don't like what they've seen to any given point. That's just basic. Are you as stupid as you sound?
BTW I'm surprised this was directed by the famous director of Love Sick, one of the first gay Thai dramas ever…
Love Sick is one of the first BLs I watched when I first discovered their existence two years ago, and I still have a real fondness for the BL cut of the show. From reading comments, it does sound strange that the same director that did LS has made something as awful as this sounds to be. Interesting.
You know good and well that announcing to unsuspecting comment-readers that there is a rape in a movie is a spoiler;…
Yup. Arrogant SJW, alright. Did you know a recent Harvard University study concluded that your stupid trigger warnings actually make watching a movie like this, which contains a RAPE scene, MORE stressful for rape victims, as they are on-guard and fearful the entire film in anticipation of the crucial scene. The entire concept of a "trigger" is not universally accepted by psychiatrists and mental health professionals. Life is FULL of unanticipated events Trigger the victims to...what? Think about having been raped? News flash: they are thinking about it already.
Most of all, your putrid arrogance shines through in this latest comment. You and you SJW buddies alone know how to protect RAPE victims and shield them from life. You don't want people to learn how to be strong and live life in the world as it exists; you want them to remain cowering victims, desperately in need of your guidance and comfort every step of the way. Thus is your existence justified. lol What a joke.
i feel like people are blinded by the BL aspect of this like, what about those girls? what about the poor girl…
You are making up comments in your head that were never written here. NO ONE has tried to justify either male character's behavior. Trying to understand where it came from is not the same thing as endorsing it. Which is one aspect of the SJW world-view I see over and over again. Constant hysteria about things other people never said.
YJ loves SJ just as much as vice-versa; they just never got around to doing the deed, which is the entire problem here. In the ultra-homophobic culture of South Korea, you do NOT go around confessing openly to the boys you love. Had that been possible, none of the nasty stuff in this flick would have occurred. So how is that a "mild" BL?
Yes both are shitty but we're not gonna act like sj is just better than yj because quite frankly sj deserves all…
Try counting the number of times you wrote "literally" in your comment. You sound Il-literate as a result and doins so does not strengthen your arguments.
A lot of y'all just want to put the blame on Yoon Jae and feel bad for seo joon when he's literally a rapist and…
Please piss off with your SJW bullshit. It is so toxic, problematic, lacking in accountability and stupid that you commented at all. Please refrain from doing so again, as your words trigger me to have unpleasant thoughts about what douches people like you are, and that makes me feel like I have been brain-raped, which is extremely traumatizing and shaming.
Also...using "literally," "like," and other valley-girl slang repeatedly does NOT make your arguments more convincing.
This was really good! Both very morally grey characters if se joon is a monster Yoon Jae is not far from that.…
I really like your comment. It contains a lot of useful information in thinking about the movie and characters but is also confusing, like the film. lol CTJ is a stud.
N the weakest MC award goes to this movie.I thought All about Lily Chou Chou had the worst main lead but this…
Yeah, I kept waiting for Yoon Jae to actually say or do something of any consequence in any direction about anything at all. He gave moralizing speeches a few times and then didn't follow through. By 2/3 of the way through I found him very annoying.
