I think this FL's abilities are a bit overrated. She’s been crying revenge since the beginning, but I don't see her actually pulling it off. If she can't deal with her mischievous, popcorn-level siblings, how is she going to face the real villains? It feels like we're inevitably heading toward the classic 'hero rescues the damsel in distress' trope. I'm not saying she's a bad character (the haunting ghost intro wowed me, but after that, what else?) but I really wished she was more of a badass.
Don't let the negative reviews fool you. I almost didn't watch this because of them, but I'm glad I did. It’s a short, low-budget drama, but the acting and plot are totally fine. Give it a try!

It feels like 99% of his dramas are guaranteed to end in devastating heartbreak...if he doesn't die the FL will die. Someone just has to die in the end. I wonder how he picks his roles...and why he insists on breaking our hearts every single time.
What made me cry was the fact that she has only 4 lives in total, will be reborn only two more times. After that…
That's also my concern. Knowing that this innocent girl will eventually die and Kim will be all alone again is heart-shattering. The Deity messed up big time.
Watching this drama was genuinely devastating, and even long after the screen goes black, that heavy sadness lingers because the show pulled off a cruel trick disguised as a romance. Out of all the Asian dramas I have watched...including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean series, this is actually the only one that has ever made me cry real tears and completely filled me with raw emotion. Ripping away a character as pure, innocent, and completely full of love as Ji Eun-tak felt incredibly unfair. She spent her entire childhood suffering under an abusive family, finally found safety and joy in Kim Shin's arms, only to be brutally killed in an accident just as her real happiness was beginning. Crying over her death is completely natural because she was harmless and lovable in every single way, making her loss feel like an unnecessary punishment for someone who had already suffered so much.What makes it even harder to swallow is the bittersweet nature of her return. The show wants us to find comfort in her reincarnation, but seeing her come back as a fragile, mortal human completely ruins the joy of their reunion. It isn't a real solution; it is just a ticking clock. We are left with the painful realization that she is still going to age, wither, and die all over again while an unchanged Kim Shin watches. The writers missed the perfect opportunity for a genuinely happy ending by not making her a female goblin. If she had been turned into an immortal deity alongside him, they could have spent eternity together on equal ground. There would be no agonizing decades of waiting for rebirth, no tragic aging, and no looming threat of permanent separation. Turning her into a goblin would have given these characters who suffered for centuries the uncomplicated, peaceful forever they actually deserved, rather than leaving the audience with a beautiful but haunting tragedy.
Y'all really need to cut FTY some slack though. The criticism against her lack of understanding is unfair given the massive class and experiential divide between her and DYX. She was raised a noble lady in a sheltered environment, taught to follow rigid virtues. He is a product of the streets, shaped by trauma, survival, and constant running. So it makes total sense why she’s struggling to understand him and wanted that divorce. Not saying it's the best solution, but try to see it from her perspective. It is a huge hurdle, but it's something they can overcome with time.
This is easily one of the most overrated dramas I have ever seen. I'm genuinely confused by the high score. I'd love to know what criteria people used to give this a high rating, because I found it almost unwatchable.
Lol! I see a lot of complaints about Zhao Ling not being romantic. Just tell us you're upset because you haven't seen enough kiss scenes lol. Dude is my kind of ML. He's a real, tough guy who works hard and takes care of his family, not the cliché type who only knows how to bring flowers, make promises, and stare into a woman's face.
No amount of pain or death a villain receives is ever enough to pay for the evil they have committed. The entire Yu family is completely rotten, from the parents down to the son and daughter-inlaw. I demand that all of them face proper punishment, or I will down-rate this drama.
