Well I think it’s refreshing that the ML is depicted as being an imperfect human. A lot of times MLs in dramas are too perfect. I’m glad the ML in this drama is allowed to be a selfish man, who behaves like a typical rich and powerful man from a noble family - take what he wanted. It’s wrong and he’s being an a-hole. Now we gotta see how the story develops further. I believe in Lanxiang. She won’t allow herself to be bullied by the Lin Family. She will live fiercely for herself and the people she loves. I’m excited to see how the story goes.

I just started Ep 21 so I’m not sure how she feels yet, but Scholar Han already told his mom to find a matchmaker to propose to Lanxiang. Also some ppl are shipping LX & Han & they think that Han could give LX a peaceful life, which is true but I really think LX is meant to live a great life.

Hmm…personal opinion, even if Han is really good to her, FL’s true identity is Shen Jialan and not really Lanxiang. She’s meant for greater things.

I don’t think she’s twisted. I think she’s just a clever but naive girl who gets caught within the network of spies around her. Her character is going through so many crazy things that she should write a book if she survives in the future lol.
