Yes we need to remember that comedy is part of this drama. It’s refreshing to me that there’s a ML who is a funny man & we need to have a bit of patience to see him grow. The 3 MLs have different qualities & Shang Yizhi is the joker & Amai gets his jokes 😂

I like Tang Shaoyi a lot but I have to disagree that Shang Yizhi is stupid. He’s not. He’s just inexperienced & never suffered a day in his life until his father’s(adopted) death. They let him be a playboy so that the emperor wouldn’t suspect him but the plan still failed. So all his life, he only knew how to play and enjoy. Suddenly he has to be a general. If he’s suddenly smart and experienced, ppl would complain it’s unrealistic. He’s willing to learn, quick to apologize if wrong & has a good heart. He will grow and mature in time. Also his laughter is gold 🤣

I mean of course the MuA did 🫠 But earlier some ppl were complaining abt the MuA giving the actress that tan but what if it’s Amai the character who faked her tan so that she would look more like a man? That was my question.

Ep 1 looks promising but does Di Renjie know martial arts in the original book too?

Haha within 1 episode, 2 more ppl know Amai’s a she. That’s fast! But I’m facing a dilemma now. I like all 3 men with Amai.

I finally didn’t auto-skip the ending song & saw Amai in her real form & then I had a thought. Has it every crossed your mind that her tanned skin is Amai’s own doing, thinking she needs to be tanned to look like a man & not the drama’s makeup artist’s fault?

I know for a fact that there are still ppl who take shower once in a few months but they’re not sweating all the time. The hair though…Anyway, Amai not showering is also her plan to use her stink to repel the men 😂

She might not end up with him, we don't know how it's gonna end yet. I'm ok with Shang Yizhi being silly coz it would be another same old same old if both the leads are smart. I'd like to see how silly SYZ grow. The good thing abt him is that he has a good heart and is not entirely clueless what a general/leader should do for his soldiers and people. He just lacks in experience.

I like it that nothing is draggy in this drama. The lies and secrets are exposed & told early and quickly. I’m surprised!
