I wonder why they didn't use the original sect name coz if they had, I think many ppl including me wouldn't get so confused as to why ppl in the drama have a negative image of Yuntai. Now it all makes sense to me with what @PeachBlossomGoddess explained about the 千术 .

Woah iQiyi really compared it to NiF? No wonder ppl expect so much of Yunxiang! Ok now I get it. Thanks for the explanation. Yes I remember 千王之王 and I guess the word 老千 also has the same origin.

LOL so many ppl kept picking on how the ML is not ingenious and get so hung up on this, but the original Chinese title doesn’t even have any indication that it’s about his ingenuity or only about it. 云襄传 just means it’s Yunxiang’s Biography(according to my Chi-Eng dictionary).

I've watched 3 other dramas with Chen Xiao in it and although I don't remember if the 1st one was dubbed or not, the recent ADoF and Thirteen Years of Dust were his own voice so in this one, to me it sounded the same so I'm pretty sure it's not dubbed. Keep watching, maybe it will be clearer later hehe

I’m guessing no one asked her to cook but she did it automatically out of shock. Or she’s partly in a state of denial. Those ppl probably didn’t know how to react & respond in that situation so if she cooks I think they’ll just go with the flow and try to act like normal.
