I don't know if this makes sense - heads up, it won't - but I went back to the ending and let my mind wander around for a bit. Although it's Saint and Ice we're seeing in their happy ending, the golden lighting and music makes me think that Kit and Seen got their happy ending... in a reincarnated way.
I know KitSeen were characters in a short film, but I like to imagine that they found their way back to each other. The safety Kit couldn't give, the joy Seen couldn't hold onto... It's like Saint and Ice completes them in the final scene. It's like the past exhaling through the present if that makes cinematic sense.
It's not reincarnation per se, but it feels like an echo of Kit and Seen and what they could've been had society not been cruel to them.
Tae's skin tone and features catches and captures light in a way that just feels warm. It's like his body was emitting light and it felt surreal, so maybe that's why I was thinking about that reincarnated stuff. π
I know! Jira is just denying it. But I think he's obviously scared about his feelings. He's seen all of Koh, and…
I could just imagine Pheem's voice in my head getting all mad at Jira. Whatever Pheem is attempting to heal from, he needs to understand that Jira is not his salvation. And Mawin is a sucky friend.
You said it! Notice how when Jira said he didn't want to sleep with him, he immediately brought someone home?…
All three of them are so messy in both life and feelings, it's kind of chaotic and fun to watch at the same time. Like, I can't bring myself to like Pheem, but I can't feel sorry for Jira either.
There are so many things that the last episode bought especially forgiveness, closure and beauty in peace.
I love Ice as a character. I enjoyed watching him on his emotional journey towards peace. His posture during certain scenarios in his life was perhaps meant for the audience to remember that he's a trauma victim in the healing stage, but in the very last episode, his posture was soft, open and fluid throughout especially in scenes with Saint. There was no hesitancy to touch or kiss Saint as was seen previously.
I love the little moment on the balcony when SaintIce was taking photos of each other. I love the KitSeen scene when they danced together on the beach. When Seen danced by himself, it was so graceful, despite it being out of sadness (Tae has this bodily grace that just translates). When Kit did it, it was out of loss and anger, and Ja embodied those emotions like a man on a mission. JaTae did so well in the short film that it felt like I was watching an entire show altogether. π
I love how Ice looked in the car with Saint. There was a shift in his eyes at one point when Saint mentioned that he played Kit better. It was subtle but it was there. I love watching Saint watching Ice play with his little brother. And the ending? Ice's beauty smacked me in my face that I was blinded for a moment. π€£
However, my favorite overall scene belongs to SaintIce domestic afternoon. The sun in Saint's eyes when he wakes up, the little kiss on Ice's shoulder, Ice's quick but playful smooch to Saint's lips, the turn to be in Saint's arms. This was perhaps the most softest I've seen both Saint and Ice with each other. And the tiniest I've seen Ice look next to Saint. I wished the director did let them cuddle a little longer.
What I've realized in this episode is the light hitting Tae in all the right places giving Ice this kind of peaceful bliss throughout the episode. From the balcony to the bedroom to the stage to the car to the tent, light bathed Ice in this glow showing that not only his body, but his soul is at ease, at peace now.
I'll write more of my thoughts over a few posts. There's still so much I have to say and I don't want to make this a longer essay.
Okay, this is going to sound outlandish, but hear me out, what if the Mastermind behind the killing is not doing the actual killing, but forcing one of the Avengers to mask up and do the deed to the chosen victim? I'll rewatch the episode and try to explain my thoughts better later on. Right now, it's time for me to catch up on major sleep. π₯±

You know what I absolutely love about this: how Pheem is hot and pining; Koh is hot and cold. It's like Jira having the best of both red flag worlds, but he's already found his muse in Koh and he's just keeping Pheem around because of his looks. Try as he might, attempting to draw Pheem "intimately" just won't happen because there is no spark.
I was so upset for Jira even if thats not true... Koh is just not a crying shoulder type of person. He is emotionally…
When Koh was excited about trying to guess Jira's favorite flower and saying that now Jira would fall for him, I was like, finally, he's feeling something... only to do that 180 degrees burn! I hope he stops lying to himself before it's too late.
I completely agree, everything in this analysis is spot one, and we can also see how Jira is drawn to this fiery,…
Thank you. After watching that episode, Koh finally came full circle for me as a character. Exactly! It's the thrill of it all that keeps Jira excited because with Koh, he knows he'll always be on the tip of his toes. π€£

No, they're not obligated to, but Koh's trust issues is on another level.
